Looks like the next James Bond will be black

Since the producers of the Daniel Craig Bond movies have already changed two characters from white to black in the space of three films, it doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility that they might try and change Bond to a black character.

Marvel did a black "Spider-Man" comic a couple of years ago where. It didn't sell. They've just launched a black "Captain America" comic and my local comic shop reports almost no sales.

Next 007 will probably be of Pakistani origin, and to appease muslims will have to be renamed from James Bond to Mohammad Akhtar.

Pierce Brosnan has backed Colin Salmon to play the first black James Bond, calling it "one of the most rewarding roles" in cinema. He said: "I've always thrown Colin Salmon's name in the mix. He's somebody I have worked with closely over the years. He would be outstanding and I think it would be absolutely essential."
