BRIEF User ID: 381742 United States 04/17/2013 10:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Very few people put bombs in their food...I hate TSA and won't fly now because of them, but it's dumb to say "bomb" at an airport. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 37796239 United States 04/17/2013 11:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You just don't say the word bomb in an airport. You don't make any jokes or any sarcastic remarks about anything having to do with bombs, guns, or anything else. Those are the rules. If you're too stupid to realize that, then you will be detained by the animals who work for the TSA gestapo. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 29762213 Australia 04/17/2013 12:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes , its dumb to say bomb in an airport . just dumb , not criminal . does anyone think that a REAL bomber - carrying a REAL bomb would be saying that word in the departure lounge ?? . rational thought says no . real bombers defeat the 'made for fear ' security every time (boston). |

Thankfully they found a lump of C4 under his bed and a sprinkling of crack on his body and believe they have wrapped up what must have been a drugs-for-terror scheme. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 33865308 Sweden 04/17/2013 01:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Using slang at an airport could get you in trouble with the TSA: after a 29-year-old airline passenger described his lunch as “the bomb” – thereby indicating the deliciousness of his sandwich – he was detained, questioned and missed his flight. Quoting: phocuss His lunch was “the bomb,” but the security process was not: Jason Michael Cruz was at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport last Thursday when the Transportation Security Administration came after him. A TSA officer had overheard the young man talk to a friend and describe a deli sandwich he bought as “the wrong kind of bomb.” Cruz was referring to a 12-inch sandwich that a local Astoria deli calls “The Bomb” – a slang term that indicates both the excellence of the sandwich and the ‘explosively’ jam-packed ingredients between the bread. The sandwich was fully packed with cold cuts, cheese and toppings, but a nearby TSA agent didn’t know the context of the conversation between Cruz and his friend, Matthew Okumoto.
