I live about 60 miles away, and it was strong enough that I went outside to see if my town had blown up.

Called my neighbors and parents, they all felt it, too, some as far as 70 miles away.

I noted the time when I got up to go outside to look. 7:54pm CDT is when the seismic wave reached Ennis, TX.

I don't know but it's starting to get freaky.

I was thinking that it's been a long time since West coast had a major incident...it's been all occurring on East coast. Now Texas. Not that I welcome any disasters. This is feeling strange

Perfect time for Marcia Law and civil war.

Nobody's going to want to leave their houses and no one will want to be in them like sitting ducks. Nice.

Good luck America, shit's for cereal.

WEST -

News Channel 25 has learned of a series of explosions in West, north of Waco. Witnesses believe a fertilizer plant on the 1400 block of Jerry Mashek Dr. exploded and cause multiple fires.

An unconfirmed report of as many as 10 buildings are on fire including the West Middle School.

There are injuries and possible entrapments of people.

A triage area has been set up to treat injured.

One woman called News Channel 25 as she was on the interstate going through West, and the explosion blew her car from one lane into the next. Her vehicle was covered with blast material.

Buildings as far north as Hillsboro shook from the explosion and windows were blown out as far away as Abbott.

Stay with us for more information.
