very irresponsible for emergency workers, people who would be on the front lines giving aid in a dire emergency, to
ever practice.
Can't have that. Shit, they might even get
good at what they're supposed to be doing if they were allowed to keep up all this dire "practicing".
They should never practice. That way when the "shit" hits the "fan" they can stumble into the warzone all weak-kneed and inexperienced, looking at each other with wide-eyes, waiting to be told what to do.
I definitely want to be aided by a National Guardsman who has no idea what the fuck he's doing because he's never practiced how to operate in an emergency situation.Hopefully Jesus will prevent all this.

You're right of course. Emergency workers do need to practice real-life scenarios to prepare.
On the other hand, how many times have we found that catastrophes in recent years have coincided with "drills" for these same catastrophes?
Can you really blame anyone for worrying when they see one planned in their area? LOL

There have also been reports that drills were held on the day of the Oklahoma City bombing (April 19, 1995 by ATF) and on the July 7, 2005 London bombing.
Anyhoo - given the creepy connections to drills and actual events - it's really not that much of a stretch to put the two together. Although I'm sure it only occurs this way with a minority of the drills that are held.
I guess drills could be some strange way of warning us in advance.
