This is absurd! I have the distinct feeling that these two young men were absolutely not involved in the bombing or the horrific (not to mention highly suspect) events of last night's "chase". Are we supposed to believe that these guys actually "hung around" for three days following the most highly publicized terror event since 9-11 and then decided to run only when pursued directly and with no plan on the books other than sudden robbery, carjacking, and murder...whilst simultaneously chucking more previously prepared explosives? Now, the older brother is dead, but somehow the younger escaped the dragnet; ON FOOT!? Pundits are making the strangest, strained sorts of speculations about the possible reasons behind the peculiar terrorist aspirations of two Chechen (Muslim?) men- peculiar in that America was their chosen target and not, um, Russia. Peculiar that, smart as these brothers were, no effort was made AT ALL to disguise themselves as they PLACED BOMBS in public beneath the gaze of dozens of glaringly overt electronic eyes, the presence of which assured rapid identification and ultimate failure of any further plans. To top it all off, the events of the last 4 days (and last nights rising action) parlayed oh so smoothly from the declared start of a publicly denied "Drill" being run concurrently with actual explosions/ casualties, to the occupation of an American city by both military and civil authority, to today's climax... the "Drill" ending Boston-wide lockdown! Perhaps the most blatant Martial Law test-run modern America has ever seen. It was necessary to assess a large city's level of compliance/ resistance to such a probable (up and coming) state of affairs, and Beantown took it lying down. Over a million people followed suit and stayed indoors ALL DAY, because of the threat of one possible crazy guy with a gun and a pressure cooker. Read that sentence again...and place it in correct perspective. A city shut down for an entire day over one man..
