I've added the information provided our friend, Fred along with some other recent finds brought to my attention by a commenter on the blog.

Thanks to a reader (SEO) in the comments section we now have the means to further confuse the situation. SEO pointed out that if we right-click on the thumbnails in AP Images we can bring up further information on the photos.

If we right-click on the above thumbnail (of Avielle Richman) in AP Images this is the information with which we are presented.

I’m at a loss to explain a photo with a creation date of 2009 showing Avielle looking no younger than in her later photos.

I'm just as perplexed about the creation date being the day before the shooting event....

Indeed. Sipa is located in France but even the difference in time doesn't explain how those pics could be uploaded with that date.

December 13th of 2009, so FOUR YEARS and one day before the event. Absolutely bizarre.

I'm trying to understand what you mean. You mean the pictures used were dated years before? I have kids who are 6&7. The kids in those photos are not school aged. Hey are of preschoolers.

Ok...some of your info I understand now. But the picture of Avielle is definitely of a three year old, not a six year old.

some of the older pohotos are dated to when the pic was taken i believe.


WHat i found strange is someone went in and corrected the dates.

For anyone following along, I have now sent 3 politely worded emails to Sipa asking for some clarification as to the various dates that accompany the photos on their site.

I have not heard one word in response. Not even an email confirming receipt of my questions.
