These mysterious drownings never end.

Nothing of note happened imho. Sure, college aged males keep drowning under suspicious circumstances, but by now that should the normalized state rather than something newsworthy. What bugs me the most is that local authorities obviously need to be in on it. Nobody's that daft.

There were also some suggestions that similar drownings occured in Western Europe, France, Spain and Britain in particular.

Hello, this is my first post. Thank you all for your research into this unusual coincidence of young successful, often moderately impaired college types that uncharacteristically depart from a group of friends and tragically vanish then turn up dead.
I would like to enter into this discussion the young North York boy named Benji Hayward who, after attending a Pink Floyd concert in Toronto in 1989 in May of that year, got separated from his friends, who all later testified at an inquest that Benji an all of them had done acid, and that drugs were rampant at this particular venue(CNE Stadium), this poor kids death changed concerts in Toronto forever.
Benji was found in Lake Ontario.
I was at that show, we actually stayed and drank for a while later, in what's called "Coronation Park" where they said Benji was found later.
Was he an early Canadian Smiley Face Murder?
The case always bothered me.

Check out that facebook page for New Dawn Films. They have made a Smiley Face a Killer documentary with a budget of $40,000 I believe. There are clips of it available on youtube. It was shown for the first time on March 6,2014 at a LA Thriller film festival.

Storyline
Since 1998 The Smiley Face Killers gang has been responsible for the drowning deaths of over 80 young men across 11 states. They torture their victims using water boarding style techniques for days and in some cases months until they kill them. Then they dump the bodies in nearby rivers or lakes subsequently washing away any evidence and always leave their signature, a Smiley Face painted nearby. In 2011, Andrew Fitzgerald who had followed the cases since he was in high school began working on a documentary that once completed would be the most comprehensive piece ever done on these killers. He was working in New York City at the time as a videographer/editor and with his equipment and skills was making the film in his spare time. Using social media as a launch pad he was generating interest along the way by documenting the behind the scenes happenings so people could see first hand just what it took to make a film of this caliber. There is intelligence being gathered on these young men and they are being hunted down,possibly drugged.


But why?


Are they being experimented on through torture? Autopsies mostly indicate no trauma but could it be psychological torture?


Is there a sexual element?

Why isn't anything being done?


These aren't just tragic accidents.
