I feel ya. Having nothing can also make you feel this way. Grab life by the fuckin horns, do some drugs, and change it!

Make an outlet for your feelings and emotions.

Don't go about helping people who don't help themselves.

You're in the UK right? Go work some shitty job for a few months and save up the money to move somewhere you'd actually like to try living at.

If you're at the end of your tether, you have nothing to lose by working some shitty or "alright" job, just to save up money to travel somewhere else.

You could try painting, or writing a story, or just go into the countryside and pick up trash to help keep it clean.
Go volunteer for the RSPCA or another charity.

You could even adopt some homeless cats or dogs.
It's all down to you, you have nothing to lose it seems, so just do it even if you don't think you'll enjoy it. At least you're doing something other than thinking of your own self worth.

None of this is an immediate fix, it's all just a gradual thing. But i feel the reward will be worth while.

Now you have nowhere to go but up. Give it to get it, like the song says. Karma is real, start investing in it. Don't expect sudden returns, when you recieve it back you will know it.

OP, stop living for others' opinions of you. Live for yourself. By that I don't mean be narcissistic and selfish and ungenerous. I mean live according to your values. Do the things that add beauty, meaning and joy to your life. Don't worry about other people. Be kind, be helpful, but don;t let your life revolve around them. Define what "meaningful" means to you; stop trying to be meaningful to others. Most people are so tied up in their own worlds, they barely notice other humans. Don't get caught up int heir shit. You will have a period of time when you feel a bit of whiplash--as the world opens up and you have to make decision about how you will spend your time and who you will spend it with. But eventually you will feel freedom and hope and joy as you fashion a life that is good for you. Stop giving a shit what other people think. It's a dead end.
