Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38503015 Yes. Ass-burger types are often geniuses, but boring, one-track ones. I talk to one of these deficient souls at work... Completely one-track mind. She talks as if her liFe was based on IKEA assembly instructions.. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 702603 Germany 04/20/2013 07:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look, for some of us extrovert aspi's (yes it's a thing) nobody knows that we have AS. They just think we are that weird quirky smart that talk too much sometimes, but it's kinda funny so they dont think anything about it. I would just like to point out that to those introvert aspis you guys are talking about, you come off as extremely weird and even creepy. NT's (you guys) Stare at ppl's eyeballs when you talk. You think this is normal. To stare...at ppl's eye balls. This is weird to us. You also seem to think every emotion you have is important and needs to be shared. It doesn't. It's annoying that you want me to know how the end of a movie made you feel. I saw the movie too, i get it. The good team won, yay. Moving on. This is how our minds work. When we see the emotion in something we acknowledge it, try to respect the time you need to get the warm and fuzzies out of your system and then want to talk about something else. Or at least drop it and leave them in peace. Stop trying to make them feel like you. They don't and they cant and they dont want to. Anyways, just try to understand that they cant "feel" you like a normal person. Thats why they act strange towards you. If you really want to befriend someone with aspergers, learn to say exactly what you mean with out implying things. Also be ready to either switch subjects quickly and often or be ready to discuss the subject in depth in minute detail. The end. [link to www.youtube.com] Stop taking us so seriously. |
