what alarms me about facebook, is how everyone I've known for 15+ years is sooooo asleep. I count 2 or 3 people out of a few hundred that are awake and actually post about it. I think there are more, but like me they do not bother posting on facebook...facebook is our "feel good society" at work...I get a sick satisfaction, even though I feel horrible at the same time, watching them respond to tragedies like this week's.

The more I read comments friends of 15+ years leave on Facebook, the more I realize don't like them.

OP, please keep on trying getting people aware. They will pick something up from you eventually in their subconscious and when they are ready for it they eventually will look for answers themselves.

fb is a waste of space. you could tell people they had an hour to live and they wouldn't give a fuck. however, talk about stupid trivial drivel like what stupid things your kid does or the latest "reality" show and people respond. calling them sheep is an insult to sheep... most people are closer to vegetables.
