Go to Google on the right hand corner after clicking on the plan. You'll be on it's flight path with visual. Lower left hand corner is an expanded view. Might me glitch, but shows two planes. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24513656 There are 2 flying next to each other. You can see both from the google earth option and they just crossed into each others flight path. I don't know how to access flight paths on google earth. But the flights are hidden on other websites. It's google earth that is located on the flight path website. click on the plane and the box appears that tells speed, altitude, etc.. While the box is still open, you can there are options on the right hand side, one of those options is flight path. The top option is the globe, if you hover over that you'll see that it says that is google earth. Click on it and you get to see the terrain the plane is flying. While you on this part, there is a small box on lower left that gives an expanded view and has a + or - option. There was two planes and you could see then one plane flying from a cockpit view behind the first plane. Now the plane is back to one. It had to be a glitch, but it did show two separate four engine planes. |

This is like earlier today, when the east coast plane kept disappearing and reappearing until it eventually landed at Trapnell Field. I guess there's sensitive portions of the flight during which it's location can't be broadcast. Either that or its a glitch with the site. |

I guess if panes are close enough to the one we are following they show up. They are both still visible on my sight but now heading separate directions. I'm guessing the second plane I'm seeing was American Airlines. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 24513656 United States 04/21/2013 09:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | UPDATE: Alright, the first plane is completely off radar. No idea where it went. Last seen near its point of origin, which was a field in the middle of nowhere. See the first page for coordinates. Flight path can be verified using flightradar24.com Quoting: TheOriginalMind There are two other E6s in the air right now over the US, both heading East. The first is out of Reno and is over Colorado, no: 164386. The second is out of the San Francisco area and near St Louis, and is unregistered. According to the public information on the website, there are no other E6s in the air worldwide. So to confirm, that's one missing around the east coast, and two others flying to the east coast. are we gonna live, OP? . |

TheOriginalMind (OP) User ID: 26681822 United States 04/21/2013 09:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's a summary on the first page. At the moment people are following E6 Mercury flight paths. There was one over DC today, which hasn't happened since 9/11. It was traced to Trapnell Field in Maryland, after disappearing off radar. E6s are mobile nuclear command aircraft. There were three in the air at once, suggesting that we're at a heightened state of readiness. I also observed significant F-15 traffic over DC earlier. The reports on the radar were confusing, but now it looks like there's two. |
