From the abundant white smoke it looks like black gunpowder.
But consider: it needs a blasting cap/primer or something similar. Let's assume it was activated with a cellphone call. Now the problem is, how do you convert a cellphone's ring signal to ignite gunpowder? Think about it. (Of course there is a way - I'm sure - but I certainly do not know how). Std gunpowder primers need physical impact; they don't do squat with electric signal.

Also, the pressure cooker is a nice Faraday cage, signals will not get through. So the phone had to be on the exterior.
Oh, one more thing: the cellular phone system was supposedly shut off at the time of the blast.

Wow OK I've not seen this before. I think the girl in the second photo is the girl who is second from the left in the video.

In fact all three of the girls in the video that didn't run the race are the three girls stood close together in front of the tree of the first image.

Their description of events and one claiming to fall into the railings of a cafe describe the area around that blast.

It's possible that the two brothers are still here together.

If Suspects 1 and 2 enter the site at around 2:37 PM its strange they left the site at the same place possible together around 2:50 PM.
I have seen no evidence that suspect 1 has been at the site of explosion 1

In the pic with the red CIRCLES--the girl with the sunglasses on, next to the (bag) She looks like she is facing straight ahead but yet her leg and FOOT is completely turned to the RIGHT (photoshop) doesn't look normal at all!

Why isn't Whitehat booking it out of there? The bag is already on the ground.

The same symbol is on her shorts in both photos. the shorts arent white but have a white stripe on the side. Can't see it in 2nd photo....but that has to be the same girl. Unless multiple members of that lacrosse team attended the event.

To have suspect #2 in her direct vicinity in both pics gives me pause.....she should be sought for questioning.

In fact, the 4nd pic, same nose (his the sister of kristelle russel, and i guarentee it's the same face

I'm not sure if this has been brought up any where yet but I noticed a coincidence worth looking in to. The picture right after the blast there is a woman up front with a red coat that has the same emblem on it as the picture with the guy who lost his legs pre race. Notice the women on each side of them holding signs with the emblem...Team Stork, when you google that a fundraisor pulls up for Brigham Womans Hospital. Same hospital the injured people went to. Just a thought anyway to look at all angles

I noticed a couple of things that I'm still researching.....

In the video of the suspects coming around the corner, suspect #1 appears clean shaven and his sideburn comes down almost in front of the whole ear.

If you look at the photo showing the bomber standing next to the guy who lost his legs, the bomber, who is not wearing a hat but is wearing sunglasses, and has a large backpack - he looks like he has whiskers - 5 o'clock shadow type and his sideburn does not come down in front of the ear. Unfortunately I don't have a link right now - would have to search for it. How did suspect #1 grow whiskers in 7 minutes?

If you look at the photo of the body in the morgue, that guy looks to have a really good start of a beard going on there.

The other thing I want to chase down is the photo of suspect #2 where his backpack is allegedly on the ground behind the girl in red shoes - I enlarged as large as I could and the bars on the fence where the backpack is, lead me to believe this is a photoshopped picture. Along with the fact that suspect #2 looks like pinocchio how his nose blends into the yellow hat. I'm going to have to download photoshop to check this out further unless someone beats me to it. Still looking for a high resolution photo.

Also wanted to know how many photos are out there of people with balloons - the lady with balloons intrigues my curiosity.

Also in the video of the boys coming around the corner there is a person in the doorway who checks his watch and adjusts his earpiece at the very moment they pass by - then from different angle you see a second person in a second doorway do the same thing - cannot determine if this is two different people in sequence, or the same person in two different cameras - and if it is the same person, then this video has been tampered with and is pieces put together rather than raw video.

BTW I am no mussie lover - only lover of truth - hope this curiosity and questions do not get me banned. I just don't believe this whole story we're getting fed. Parts of it may be true but I'm trying to determine for myself what I believe is plausible and what needs further investigation. It is not so cut and dry as they make it out to be..... OP is trying to summarize the weirdness so I'm just putting this out there to be included - or not - totally up to OP.

Lol! Ya I agree totally. The more I see and hear the more convinced I am it is fake as can be. The dust, the fake blood, different colored backpacks, no photos showing them drop the bags, just one obvious photoshop of the bag on the ground, puffs of smoke with no shrapnel, glass that was obviously blown out not in, craft intl guys, no one helping double amputee, cowboy guy doing weird stuff on fence, lady dropping her bag over the fence, all of it just stinks! 200+ injuries?!? Where are they all? I see about 10-15 from the photos. It just doesn't add up, can't buy any of it anymore.
Oh and YES I have seen real blood, I saw an explosion YESTERDAY, and know the experience quite well. I am in Afghanistan now, have been here 3 times. I have been to Iraq too. This Boston bombing psyops is as fake as sandy hook.
