Not to get all biblical or anything but i am a very spiritual person and i had prayed about smoking a lot because preachers look at you with evil eyes if they see you smoking.

Now that I know about the anti-flouride effects of it i don't think I have a problem with smoking anymore.

God wants our minds to be pure...how can we do that if they are full of flouride?

Yep.

Why do some people get lung cancer being pasive smokers and others just smoke their whole lifes and don't? (Genetics?)

Still, I say go with natural tobbaco again, it still has nicotine.

“The living being had no need of eyes because there was nothing outside of him to be seen; nor of ears because there was nothing to be heard; and there was no surrounding atmosphere to be breathed; nor would there have been any use of organs by the help of which he might receive his food or get rid of what he had already digested, since there was nothing which went from him or came into him: for there was nothing beside him. Of design he created thus; his own waste providing his own food, and all that he did or suffered taking place in and by himself. For the Creator conceived that a being which was self-sufficient would be far more excellent than one which lacked anything; and, as he had no need to take anything or defend himself against any one, the Creator did not think it necessary to bestow upon him hands: nor had he any need of feet, nor of the whole apparatus of walking; but the movement suited to his spherical form which was designed by him, being of all the seven that which is most appropriate to mind and intelligence; and he was made to move in the same manner and on the same spot, within his own limits revolving in a circle. All the other six motions were taken away from him, and he was made not to partake of their deviations. And as this circular movement required no feet, the universe was created without legs and without feet.” -Plato

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” - Nikola Tesla

“What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.” - Albert Einstein

It's all in the genes. Some people are not wired to handle smoking. Some are. I laugh when I see those ads to stop smoking where a guy in his thirties has amputated legs, saggy eyes, underweight, voice box cut out talking through a mike. I ask myself: where did they did this zombie up? That's not how it is in real life. I know, I was smoking for 60 years and hardly ever get sick, hardly cough, but I am short winded if I hit a flight of stairs. Like I say, it's all in the genes.

Re: It's time for a cigarette.
I started smoking around the age of 12. I quit when I was an adult for about 7 years......it was one of the hardest things I ever did.

Then one day I had a bad day at work, and I was with a smoking co-worker. I took one of her smokes and smoked it.

Bought a pack on the way home and been addicted ever since. I curse the day I smoked that 1 smoke again.

I'm stressing to death about quitting again, but I know I have to do it.

Please don't smoke that cigarette, you will be very sorry you did because you'll be hooked again instantly.

Cigarettes are better than weed.

But even if you think weed is better than cigs, theres still this weird thing whwere people who smoke both are ashamed they smoke cigs and proud they smoke weed. Very ashamed some even wont reply to a cigarette thread, or say something like "i know its really bad and im not proud, but i smoke" while they then go "Fuck Yeah i smoke weed, its awesome and cures everything"

Cigarettes are foul unless Maverick or Newport (Lorillard)

So i can see why people who smoke kind of like and dislike the taste and smell at the same time. Its because they never had a Lorillard brand. Other brands ARE rather foul in comparison.

haha, so true

sure, nicotine is addictive, but HAVING to use weed to dissolve away your woes is quite another. you can function on nicotine, its doesnt do your nut in and render you incapable of driving and the like. if you need weed, then you do have issues

same with alcohol abusers

but they deny it cool2

i read about nicotine being good for alzheimers recently, didnt know about the fluoride though though, ill look in to that

although we dont have fluoridated water here, and i used fluoride-free toothpaste, still its in other stuff

ive never managed to give up, dont even want to. did try e-cigs for a few months but only still smoked the real thing

theyre talking about regulating e-cigs in the EU. fuckers. then again, theyre also full of chemicals. and organic gigs are hard to come by

anyway, i am rarely ill, save for the odd cold. not had flu in decades. breathing is fine. blood pressure fine. no health issues

anyhooo, ramblings. if youve succeeded and suffered and managed to quit, i say stay that way. wish i could just wake up one morning and not want one. ahhh, but its harder to quit than hard drugs

i envy 'social' smokers. no idea how some people can just take or leave nicotine. best of all worlds, imo. you get to indulge but it doesnt bug you if you cant have one

stay off em, OP. be free! banana2
