thanks for the informative post- might try to take out carrageenan from my diet. thought my mild IBS was mostly lactose related but this post has me thinking that the carrageenan in my microwave dinners is a likely culprit.
new rim burner/IBS suspect list:
-thai chilli peppers (get me like 100% of the time)
-carrageenan
-ciggys/coffee
i can agree the FDA is whacksauce. it's disheartening that big gov't agencies seem above the law.
