News flash. If any law enforcement asks Facebook for access to your account, they won't need your little password to see every single keystroke you've ever made. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Truth, but sooooooo many people refuse to believe that this is what it's going to come to. I can't believe some of the stuff I see posted on social media, pictures included. But, people failing to care about what is going on around them is the reason we are in this state. People need to open their eyes and stop caring only about Dancing With The Stars... Cops should have a warrant for any kind of search. I'm just pointing out reality. They can get a warrant, but even then, many internet providers and websites will give info without a warrant. The reality is that if you are using a company computer, they own that computer and because they have to monitor it for all kinds of reasons vitually everything you type through it is probably shadowed. So, just because you enter a password doesn't mean what you type is private because it is on a machine you don't own and have no security control over. If yo uare viewing this page of GLP from work right now, your employer has a record of it and can call it up at will any time they want because that computer is their property. Since many people are addicted to Facebook, I suspect they will make sock puppet accounts for job applications, rather than stop using the site. It would serve these peeping Toms right, to demand passwords and then get access to useless accounts. |
