I once worked somewhere where they decided to conduct an efficiency study and we had to wear buzzers for a few days. Everytime they buzzed we were supposed to write down where we were, including the bathroom.

I never heard any results connected to me. I think my supervisor wasn't with the program and didn't follow through with any of the data crunching that came from it.

I remember though having to carry paper around and record what I was doing every time the damn thing buzzed.
