When I see a penny on the ground, I always pick it up because it reminds me of how the LORD fed the Israelites with manna when they wandered in the desert.

Some people think that it is beneath them to stoop down and pick up a penny, yet it is not beneath us to work 8 - 12 hours a day as a wage slave and then pay taxes on our wages.

If I accidentaly drop coins on the ground, I don't pick them up. I leave them for the next person.

Soon there will be no more pennies, just nickels and dimes, as Canada has phased out the penny.

I was taking care of the pet of a friend who was hospitalized. Twice a day I'd feed and water the dog and check the apartment. I'd find coins on the bedroom floor and place them on the desk. This would happen everyday which was odd given that supposedly no one was else was entering the apartment. Where were they coming from?

The socks put them there from the dryer vortex.

This is nice to read. Just last week my beloved cat gave me a visit during the night. We were great friends and shared a wonderful life until he passed over a year ago. My infant son sleeps next to me and during the night my cat was there watching us through the window. I sat up, touched the glass, and he was gone. The next day I found a mouse by the camper we lived in. He would stack mice up in neat rows outside the door, and there was one. In our new home I've never seen a mouse around the property and it's still been winterish.

I have felt this happen, but it was totally different. My grandfather was always very crafty. He was an auto mechanic, wood worker, fiberglass molder. This man could do anything with his hands.

About 5-7 years after he passed away, when I moved into my new house, I found a carved wooden dog that he made for me when I was a child. It was random too, was living in the new house for about 3 months, and one day, found it on the floor next to my bed. I knew he was watching over me when I found it.

Yes. It happens to me when I think about my late husband. I don't know why, but it does. Found a coin in my bed sheets once! How strange is that!

This happened to my mom for several years after her husband passed away. There were also a couple of times when she found personal belongings of his lying on the floor. One was a small silver bullet. She kept it in a little box in her dresser drawer. She woke up one morning and found it lying in the middle of the living room floor.
