The truth about the SIRIUS 6 inch 'alien'
Now that the Sirius Documentary has premiered all the supposed truth Greer promised us is out on the tablet for us to see.

I’m not even going to bother with the conspiracy shit he talked about for the greater part of the movie; because the subjects he covered were both A.) widely known to anybody leafing through even the most entry-level conspiracy theories and B.) irrelevant to the subject in the documentary that drew me too it in the first place, the Chilean specimen.

On the Sirius main site there are .pdf reports on the subject that are open to the public.
This one: [link to siriusdisclosure.com] was written by Dr. Garry Nolan.

On a similar note here is the radiography evaluation by DR. Ralph Lachman: [link to siriusdisclosure.com]

This one, however is written by Greer himself: [link to siriusdisclosure.com]

From Nolan’s report, their observation of the body:

''Morphologic features include that the specimen has only 10 ribs, mild mid face hypoplasia, and shows abnormalities of the skull. The observed abnormalities do not fall into any standard or rare classification of known human pediatric disorders. As represented by a specialist in pediatric human bone and growth disorders (see attached report), the 6 inch specimen is a human that was likely 6-8 years of age at the time of death (age based on epiphyseal plate X-Ray density standards). X-Ray imaging and CT scan results confirmed the specimen is biological and is not a non-human primate. The specimen was concluded by the medical specialist to be a human child with an apparently severe form of dwarfism and other anomalies''

In this report its noted that they do not have enough research to conclude whether the body displayed the same genetic markers of primordial dwarfism.

The radiology report notes that the body does not fit any known form of dwarfism, and suggests that due to the supposed age the body lived to and the level of development of the skeleton that it might have suffered from a form of progeria.-> [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

Steven Greer’s report is a completely different matter. While the other reports from the actual scientists refer to the body as a human that suffered from a yet unknown mutation of a variety of such, Greer continues to dodge the subject of whether its human or not, regurgitates bits and pieces of the other reports, and stuffs his report with a lot of pretty pictures and previously unreported findings like the mature teeth the body apparently had. Greer also makes a note of the supposed UFO activity from around the area where the body was found and reports of similarly tiny humanoids sighted there as well.

Greer’s report focuses more on raising more questions (of the “is it a hybrid? what if we are all hybrids?” kind) than outright saying “well its a severely deformed human/completely extraterrestrial being”. At this point, I’m more swayed by the idea that this tiny piece of alien bacon is a duende than an alien, if not because its closer to a severely stunted child with progeria than it is to an alien.

In conclusion, I hope you didn’t waste your money on a ‘by the people, for the people’ film that ended up having a price tag anyways, especially when the meat of the film ended up being the same murky, inconclusive mystery we all get for free on a badly-designed geocities website.

Re: The truth about the SIRIUS 6 inch 'alien'
(here's my own review - I hope you don't mind me posting it here):

ATA's DNA - as anaylzed in the Sirius film

There are some misleading reports coming concerning the DNA of the small creature found in the Atacama desert. The answer to the question many many are asking is not quite as simple as: "He's a human." In watching the film, the actual report that I heard is more complex than that.

Stanford Researcher, Garry Nolan, is the scientist who analyzed "Ata's" DNA. It is true that a part of his statement was: "It is human... Or at least the DNA is closer to human than it is to a monkey." In addition, his results suggest that "the mother was an indigenious Indian from the area... who probably died in the last century." Is this then, the end of speculation that the creature might be of extra-terrestrial origin? Not at all.

Nolan also points to several several important complexities. The observed mutations are beyond what can be explained by simple cell division. And that leaves a "strange conundrum" in the results:

+ Size: The examination points to the creature being 6 to 8 years of age, so what size would it have been at birth? The DNA had no genetic signature for dwarfism
+ Ribs: It has 10, rather than the human number of 12
+ Skull: the creature has an elongated skull, with more "face" above the eyes than a normal human. What causes this strange mutation?

The genetics causing these mutations were not identifable, and Nolan speculated that the causes could be something in the junk DNA. He promised to put his data on the web, to see if anyone could spot something he may have missed.

He also left hanging a very intriguing statement:
"I want to say other things, but I do not want leave myself open to attack."

Perhaps he thinks there is some relationship between Ata's DNA and Humans - so that are related in some way - but that Ata is not fully human. Many alternative researchers and UFOlogists have claimed that humans have "alien DNA." Might we share more DNA with aliens, than we do with monkeys? Well, that's my speculation. But we may simply have to wait several more months before we get better questions and better answers, to the speculation that has not been put to rest by the DNA study.

- I wrote these Comments after watching the Sirius Film. I do hope to write a longer review of the film later.

Some idiot gave this review one star.

I would not call him an idiot if he said why and/or provided some better material. Unfortunately, GLP has too many know-nothing, say-nothing jerks like that.

Dim-witted couchers, I reckon

That ancillary conspiracy stuff (banking, 911, etc) really turned me off too. If he needed filler material, he should have gone with some related UFO material instead - there is more than enough of it out there, much of it very well research and supported by facts.

I will have to think three times before I ever spend any time again listening to or watching any material Greer puts forth. Really disappointing experience.

Re: The truth about the SIRIUS 6 inch 'alien'
We have some of the top geneticists in the world on record now, saying the following:

This specimen is NOT a fake.

This specimen IS biological.

It is NOT an "immature spider monkey."

This specimen DOES have humanlike DNA.

This DNA does NOT entirely match normal human DNA -- but is similar.

This specimen DOES have very distinct differences from normal human life.

So what?
Do you thnk life everywhere has to be identical with what is on Earth?

BTW, the record now shows, that this is not just an old, dried out version of...

General Tom Thumb:
... was the stage name of Charles Sherwood Stratton (January 4, 1838 – July 15, 1883), a little person who achieved great fame under circus pioneer P.T. Barnum.

Born in Bridgeport to parents who were of medium height, Charles was a relatively large baby, weighing 9 pounds 8 ounces (4.3 kg) at birth.[1] He developed and grew normally for the first six months of his life, at which point he was 25 inches (64 cm) tall and weighed 15 pounds (6.8 kg). Then he stopped growing. His parents became concerned when, after his first birthday, they noticed he had not grown at all in the previous six months. They showed him to their doctor, who said there was little chance Charles would ever grow to, or reach normal height.

By late 1842, Stratton had not grown an inch in height or put on a pound in weight from when he was six months old. Apart from this, he was a totally normal, healthy child, with several siblings who were of average size.
