you should look into the brighter side of things... life is a grind but thats what it is ment to be... spiritually you are here to develop and learn new skills. society now days covers up our development with physiological bullshit. a clairvoyant would be classed as schizophrenic when actually they are able to communicate with spirit. I hate what the world has become. I was once told that "heaven" and "hell" exist. that being on earth in physical form, having to eat ,sleep ,exercise and work, is hell, that here on earth is hell. and that the after life is heaven. but we must learn what we need to here before we are allowed to enjoy the full extent of the after life (if you dont learn you will just relive similar lives until the lesson is learnt)

in the old days i saw beauty, nature, innocence and it made me happy, now it is bittersweet because the rulers of this planet are out to destroy all that are those things.

I'm the most intelligent person in the world (I have no doubt about that even if I'm wrong) and I haven't been able to find a definitive answer as well. What i suspect is that life is an open question -- a question without an answer. (in that case the answer is just the question itself, repeated again and again)

however iv' been able to uncover a new horizon of applications to understand the essence of life and its practice. I finally understood that the main question I has to ask was not "what" but "who". It's not about WHAT you should do or WHAT is life, it's about WHO you should be and WHO is currently living your life. Do you like WHO you are now? Do you want to be someone else?

funny, i feel exactly the same, most of the time.

i am completely burnt out and struggle to see any point to life anymore.

i got cancer aged 27, after going thru years of severe major depression (i really should have been institutionalised except they closed them down) since i was 15. i lost all my friends and spent most years inside my head. i have had massive massive family problems with my parents etc....

i just got a double mascectomy...

all thru it i have worked hard, studied at uni, held a job for several years til i got cancer and had to quit; went back full time for 2 years til the cancer came back; i work in a very high powered difficult profession that took v high high school results to get into. i found it extremely stressful and copped heaps of abuse from clients for no reason....and was overworked, underpaid, copped a lot of bullying from bosses and colleagues....

blah blah blah....

can't really complain tho, people in Africa have it worse...i just saw ppl on one dollar a day with three kids, no water, hardly any food, no place to live etc...

dont know what's wrong with this world sometimes.

anyways, in spite of being top 2-3 kids in the top high school in my state where i live for years, and getting the top poss score at the end of high school, i pretty much have no savings or money or job and am in my early thirties...

probly gonna have to go back to work soon, even tho my cancer has come back three times already, and i need another operation, cuz i can't really afford to pay bills on the pension i get, and ...

actually this is depressing me too...i mite go and do something more uplifting instead of whinging...

try qi gong or meditation is my advice...and exercise, it kinda helps a bit....

i live for my sister & my dog mainly.... :)
