Besides, everyone will have their eyes open at the marathon. I read our bridges w KY were on a likely terror target list years ago. Id be worried there. Our 75 bridge is going to be replaced at some point in the future so it would be expendable to TPTB. Also i remember in that article about the bridges, it said that if the 74,75, and 275 bridges were taken out it could crush the economy and severely alter shipping lanes. GE also has a big plant here. This drill is at the HC fairgrounds like 2-3 exits down 75 from GE. Its infrastructure is aging. Who knows. |

Another event, close to the fairgrounds is a free family event about 15-20 miles southwest of the fairgrounds at a church. |

The Hamilton County Fairgrounds is in a really crappy part of town. It used to be a very nice, middle class neighborhood but not anymore. Hell, even our 4-H Community Fair, that was held at the Hamilton County Fairground for many years, was moved to Stricker's Grove in Butler County. Part of me wants to go to the drill to take photos, the other part of me wants to stay the hell away! |

Well the fairgrounds website says on its events calendar that its open for the drill but there is nothing else planned for that day... You could maybe take pictures from safe areas and when a "real" disaster happens, you could share pictures saying "that happened at the drill!! Not at the [event]!!!" |
