However the idea that he was trying to stem the bleeding or apply a tourniquet is the more far fetched idea yeah?

Nothing is speculation

In ALL of the pictures available, SHOW ME ONE OTHER PERSON WITH THEIR HOOD ON

HE IS THE ONLY ONE
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38963889

And by the way, when the explosion first happened, this SAME HOODED MAN ran over to Jeff and did something with his legs. Then he left him and Cowboy took over.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38963889

Yes, and notice he has absolutely no blood on him. In the pictures right after the bomb went off, Jeff's "bloody" stump was right up against that suspicious man's shirt and the lady in the red's hair. No blood on either of them where his stump was.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38899274

hello sir. interesting points you raise.

What to do

If you witness an amputation:

Call emergency services.

Stop the bleeding. A complete amputation may not bleed very much. The cut blood vessels may spasm, pull back into the injured part, and shrink. This slows or stops the bleeding. If there is bleeding, do the following:

Vascular spasm

This is a prompt constriction of the broken blood vessel and is the most immediate protection against blood loss. Injury stimulates pain receptors. Some of these receptors directly innervate nearby blood vessels and cause them to constrict. After a few minutes, other mechanisms take over. Injury to the smooth muscle of the blood vessel itself causes a longer-lasting vasoconstriction where platelets release a chemical vasoconstrictor called serotonin. This maintains vascular spasm long enough for the other haemostatic mechanisms to come into play.

[link to www.virtualmedicalcentre.com]

Hemostasis

Sudden and severe loss of blood can lead to shock and death. When blood vessels are damaged, Hemostasis (clot formation) will arrest bleeding. This process is divided into three phases.

I. Vascular phase - Cutting or damaging blood vessels leads to vascular spasm of the smooth muscle in the vessel wall. This produces a vasoconstriction which will slow or even stop blood flow. This response will last up to 30 minutes and is localized to the damaged area.

C. Wilson William, Christopher M. Grande, David B. Hoyt - 2007 - Medical
The body has a natural defense against blood loss after amputation and that is vasospasm, intense vasoconstriction causing arteries to clamp down in response.

The odd thing about that man is his sunglasses have a string that goes around his neck - you can see them dangling while he is working with Jeff. Not uncommon for someone to have their sunglasses with a string in a crowd like that but I would like to see images of him right before this explosion to see if he was wearing them.

I would bet money he was, then took them off to attach the fake blown off legs, then placed them on again after installing the legs. Sunglasses being needed to hide his identity but he needed to remove them to work on Jeff. Then he puts them back on. The string would be needed for this.

These processes are not immediate as visualized in the pictures. It would take at least a few minutes to occur. And still there would have been blood on Jeff's stump. Yet nothing on the clothing?

Cowboy hat dude helped with Gauze tourniquets after a medic got there, before medics got there, cowboy hat dude was pushing the barrier away. He did not approach Jeff until he was already receiving medical help.

I need to find the link again also, it was 21 images shown on a news program, mostly focusing on the kid that got up and ran so fast.

I posted ALL 21 images in the series, because they were not all posted online by the photographer. I made them to prove a point that it was his nylon jacket that was melting on him, the right sleeve was the last part he pulled off as running.

unfortunately when I cropped the kid, I cropped out cowboy hat dude and his actions. doh.. and I can't find the original news story.. But I will..

Do you think Jeff Bauman has just fallen from the sky. If he lost his legs long ago someone would have come forward to state so, i.e. co-worker, schoolmate, neighbor, friend, the DOCTOR who removed the legs, the nurses, etc., etc.

And then I guess you think the whole hospital where he is now is in on it as well.

Zoom in on the third link. Look at the 'blood' on top of the stars and stripes bag. Notice how the pigment has separated from the medium as it soaks into the cloth. Paint or pigmented dye.

Real blood properties will not separate. That's what makes it blood.

The legs under the glass plate in the lower left you are referring to is an illusion. I thought that as well at first but after looking at other pics of the scene, you can see that it is actually an overhang and the camera angle makes it look like the glass is on someone's legs but it is not.

If you watch the lady in blue in frame 1 hugging the lady in white near the fence, you can see her transfer what could be a prosthetic to the lady in white. It starts out on the lady in blue's right arm and get transferred to the lady in white. The two eventually tuck it (whatever it is) away and walk with it.

This isn't the video I used to screen cap, the one I used was zoomed in more, and directly on an nbc site. It's possible they may have removed it because this person is not of interest, the video was before brothers pointed at by FBI.. I am still fixing dinner, and couldn't pause each frame on this one to see if it shows Jeff and cowboy hat guy. if it does, you will see cowboy hat guy walk over to Jeff after getting barrier pushed away, [ut his hands on his head like "omfg!!" then bend down, then you can't see what is happening, but medics are already there by that point. It sucks because this one has the frame around the kid, ruins the rest of the image.. ugh.. Still hunting though. I wonder if it's in my cache?

The news story showed 21 images that weren't posted. Probably because they "seemed" redundant to photographer.

Those photos don't show much of Jeff at all, unfortunately. I am looking forward to viewing your video because the pics that I've seen seem to be where the ones you posted leave off...Jeff and his helper (the suspicious guy...with no blood on him). I am also very curious why there are a couple photos of Jeff with no one around him at all laying on the ground if there were people claiming they helped him.

I know, sadly I cropped him out when focusing on the kid with the jacket. ugh..

This one is close, but not the video I used..

This IS the series of photo's though, although the framing of jacket kid ruins the rest..

I will keep looking. :)

You might check youtube also, boston bombing man fleeing or man running, and look for the news label that is on my pictures.

I will be back though. Rice is cooking, then fried rice.. dang I picked the wrong meal to cook when starving.

look at the furthest right on the scaffolding, now zoom in the middle of the scaffolding, is that a foot????

Yes, I believe it is Jeff's right foot. Because the other gentleman who lost his lower leg in same spot was his left leg. here is another image of it..

lower left..

Please show me where it says that in the article.

It doesn't, I saw visual of that, read post above, with my burning jacket kid link.

I need to go make dinner, I'm starving, but I will find the video of the full images for you, so check back.

Then that would beg another question. Why would everyone else and Arrodondo never mention others? In all the articles and interviews, he claims to be the hero.

I think he is a bit of a drama queen, attention whore, but that is a diff topic. lol He did push the barriers out of the way, he was helping, and that alone makes him a hero. Many hero's that day..

I know I haven't answered some posts... I see them, and will read back and get to them all when I get done with dinner. Give me an hour to cook, eat, and chill for a bit.
