Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
I had it done to me back in early 90s. I was very skeptical but it turned out everything he told me was true I just didnt find out til at least 10 years later. Even down to how many bottles a day of guinness my body could tolerate. Theres definitely something to it.

What do you think, OP?
 Quoting: Lies & Alibis

Based on the recommendation I got I trust that source. But I don't know. My hubby is super skeptical. BUT I will say the tests he had done were odd although they did show some results to possible allergies. Still looking for more info though.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38882037

OP I'm curious what supplements you were recommended to take. Care to share?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37389435

The OP has not returned to this thread in four days (since April 25th. ) Applied kinesiology (also known as muscle testing) is very good at uncovering allergies.

I had never thought about testing to see how many bottles of beer or mixed drink my body can tolerate.

I just muscle tested my alcohol consumption and found that I can withstand only one beer, and one mixed drink.

Ironically, I usually stop at after one drink.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
Have had it done many times by several different practitioners. It works if you get one who is properly trained and knows what they're doing. My blood, urine and hormone tests matched the AK testing done by my chiropractor/acupuncturist.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27666882

This is what also happened to me when I first went to a someone who practiced kinesiology. I took their diagnosis and then asked my doctor to test me for these issues. Their suspicions matched the medical tests.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
LisaDiane,

My daughter had been seeing a very talented kinesiologist, who has since passed away. I would love to hear any suggestions you might have for her as we look for someone local.

Thanks
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19160826

I sense that your daughters general health is a 5 on a scale of 10 and this is not good.

She is deficient in every important vitamin and all important minerals except iron and phosphorous. I suspect that this could be due to something making her not absorb important nutrients, as most Americans have some nutritional deficiencies but not usually this many.

She has inflammation in many parts of her body, and this is not good. There are viruses and bacterial infections that are residual and may be causing her problems. She has no issues with parasites or a fungal infection.

Her brain, heart, spleen, and thyroid are functioning good, but her kidney, liver, pancreas, G/I tract, and bladder are not operating good, and this is concerning. This means that she is most likely very toxic, as she is not eliminating what she needs to.

I am not a doctor, so do seek medical advice.

I would immediately get her on a really good absorbent vitamin and mineral supplement, and give additional support for calcium magnesium, vitamin B complex, vitamin D and iodine.

If you give me more of her symptoms, I might be able to help you a little further.

Hope that helps.
 Quoting: LisaDiane

She is sluggish, swollen, frequent heavy periods, food cravings, depression, hairtrigger temper. She is very pale. She has gone from an athletic active person to a very sluggish and sedentary lifestyle. This is organic and not mental. Her GP says all looks ok on paper, but there is something going on. On a side note, her hair will fall out periodically. She has had her thyroid checked. The GP's next test will be for gluten intolerance.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19160826

Based on your note that she will be tested for gluten intolerance, I immediately tested her for this and found that she is allergic to gluten so stop the wheat now. I then searched online for the most common allergies, and muscle tested her on these. She is allergic to dust mites and pollen and some insect bites ( not bees, but fire ants).

As for food allergies, I read that 90% of all food allergies come from ten food items, so I muscle tested her on each of these 10 foods, and got a positive result that she could be allergic to shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soy. Tree nuts encompass many different nuts, so I then went down this list and found that she is allergic to brazil nuts, cashews, macadamia, and walnuts. She is OK with almonds and pecans, however I would just keep her off of any nuts and products that have nuts in them ( cereal, candy, energy bars, etc.) as nuts are hidden in many packaged food items.

I am not a doctor, so check this out with a doctor who can test you for these specific allergies.

If she were my daughter, I would have her stop eating these foods ASAP until you can positively identify that this is her problem.

Remember I said that she has some bacterial infection that is residual..... have a doctor check her for Lyme disease, as she may have been bitten by a tick at some time in the past. This word "Lyme" just came to me, and so I looked it up, and one can exhibit mood swings, depression, and other symptoms that your daughter may be experiencing.

Finally, I tell everyone to stop artificial sweeteners, i.e Nutrasweet (aspartame), Splenda, Sweet and low, etc. I found out that I suffered from Aspartame disease over ten years ago and I will not touch Nutrasweet for anything. According to muscle testing, she is allergic to these artificial sweeteners. They are found in gum, candy, and many other food items.

If you want more information, and want to contact me directly then put your e mail on here, but spell out the "at" symbol.

My husband got recommended to go to an AK doctor. He went through all of these "tests" to determine if there was an allergy. The AK doctor mentioned he has mold in his body. Suggested or rather prescribed certain supplements.

Is this all quakery? Witch doctorish? Or actually legit?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38882037

It is legit. I had pain in my shoulder for 3 years, and I take care of myself a lot. Could not get rid of it by any means until I stayed in a hotel where they were giving a AK Nutrition seminar, I saw the brochures and stepped in. They were offering free screenings so I took it upon myself to see what else could be done. They did all muscle tests and found out that I had gout and small parasites the kind you get with fish ,and I love suchi) in the shoulder.

They prescribed some natural supplements and within 3 months it was gone for the first time.

So yes, it does work and there is ample research on it. Just because you don't understand it, it doesn't make it quack or voodoo, it only makes you ignorant.

Uwe, you are overall very healthy,

The only organ that needs support is your G/I tract, as the rest of your organs are functioning quite well.

You are not deficient in any vitamins, and the only minerals that you could use more of is calcium, magnesium, and iodine.

Keep up the good work. Whatever you are doing is working quite well.

Funny that you mention gout, as my husband had gout(which had been diagnosed by a rheumatoid doctor) and a practitioner (whom I have learned a lot about muscle testing from) was able to discern his other health issues and knew how to get rid of this.

Like you, she found nutrients that he was deficient in along with other mitigating factors and cured him of his gout.

Here is another angle based on GLPer "Lil Angel's" suggestion. She suggested that I test for essential amino acids, as these are very important for one's body to function properly.

I pulled a list off the Internet of "essential amino acids" and "conditional essential amino acids". Some are produced by your own body and some are essential to get from your food as you body cannot produce them. Your daughter tested for being deficient in the essential amino acids of lysine, phelyalanine, and trytophane. And for the "conditional essential" ones: glutamine and tyrosine. I suggest that you look up these amino acids online and see what foods or supplements that may cover these. My original source for "essential amino acids" was Wikipedia and it explains the two kinds.

Perhaps your doctor can shed some light on why her body is not producing glutamine and tyrosine.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
It is very real.

I have gone to a practitioner
for several years and what she identified, I later confirmed with positive results through medical tests.

Her supplements and homeopathic remedies
would resolve the issues without any side effects.

I then learned how to do a form of this myself, and have practiced on friends and relatives. I can rate a person's organs on a scale of one to ten, to determine if an organ needs support.

I can also tell a person what their nutritional deficiencies are, etc. and how suitable a medicine or supplement is for your body.

It is really quite fascinating.

FYI Your husband does have a mold issue ( but this is more commonly referred to as a fungal infection). Surely you have heard of athetes foot, jock itch, or yeast infection. Candida ( yeast infection can be systemic, which means an internal infection in your body or blood).

Your husband also needs support for his prostrate and his immune system. His liver is not functioning as well as it should, as he drinks too much beer.
 Quoting: LisaDiane

If he truly does drink a lot of beer, that will contribute to fungus and candida, for sure. Try a low carb/low sugar/no alcohol diet, along with some grapefruit seed tablets and such things as Pau d' Arco tea. Tea tree oil works well topically for fungal skin issues or under the nails, etc. I have lupus, so everything and anything can get me, I had to find the cures to multiple ailments without drugs as they usually don't work, or more often - I'll have an allergy, sensitivity, or bad reaction. I LOVE natural medicine, homeopathy, herbology, accupuncture, kinesiology, chiropractic, aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, neuralfeedback - it's all so helpful - why the heck can't we get insurance for any of it - that's the saddest part. I began to use and study it back when any time you even mentioned Echinacea - people would look at you cross-eyed and thought I was a nut. I am SO glad that it all has gone mainstream now, so very much. I used to have to buy each individual herb or supplement and put them together, but now they have stuff that is all in one - so much easier. Although my current status of Lupus and transplant pretty much leave me personally only able to utilize less than maybe 2% of what I know to actually help myself. I do like to help others, though, and new things are always coming on the scene that are better.

GEO777 I have helped someone with Lupus before and would be willing to muscle test you if you want.

Since you did not ask for this in this post, I do not want to make this muscle testing public without your permission. We are both paid members, so I can send you a private message if you prefer. If you do not want help, that is OK.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
Cool...you want to try me out?
Face and neck rash, looks like small pimples, however no puss not a pimple..comes and goes when it flares I look 10 years older!

Thanks

I have no intention of hijacking this thread, since this is more about psychic readings. That being said, if someone has physical issues, then come to the other thread on "applied kinesiology".

I will give you a very brief overview of your physical issues. Overall, you are generally very healthy, however you have a residual viral infection can causes these outbreaks. This is a form of eczema, as your body does not properly metabolize linoleic acid in y-linoleic acid (GLA).

As for vitamins, you are good. As for mineral deficiencies, you need more calcium, magnesium, selemium, and iodine. Also stop ingesting any and all artificial sweeteners which are hidden in many different foods.

I hope that helps.

Let me know if this is what you think it is.

Thanks, I was thinking gluten issues. Seems if I cut back it helps. I am overall in good health..you got that correct. Will have to research the acids you mentioned. I am certain it is in the food..If I go for a week or see eating damn near nothing the inflammation and bumps all but disappear. the minerals i would tend to agree.
Have you ever thought blood type is a huge factor in foods one can eat? I do eat fairly healthy..tend to lean t-wards lots of veggies. If fact I can get down right foul tempered if I go long with out fresh veggies..weird uh? Don't care for meat but do eat some..think it comes from societal pressure and being made to eat it as a child.
So this viral infection thing? How do i get rid of it? Do you think it is possible to smell it??? lol I know right seems like a nut so statement. But I swear from time to time / it's like I can smell my insides permeating this smell like death / garbage..idk. Rest assured no one else can just me...they all think I'm weird. I can smell others 2 that no one else can..super strange, but it is what it is on that.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
Acupuncture - Real or Fake?
Holistic medicine - Real or Fake?
Etc etc etc that is outside the realm of western medicine - Real or Fake?

Western medicine is great for traumatic injury or thing like strokes and heart attacks. Otherwise I believe it exists to make money for pharmacological companies. I trust western doctors about as far as I can throw them.

I went to a holistic practitioner for gout in my big toe. Rather than pump me full of poisonous drugs, she treated the root cause of the acid crystals by recommending a diet regime to fix it, and magnetic channeling. My gout went away almost immediately with no harmful side effects.

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
Have had it done many times by several different practitioners. It works if you get one who is properly trained and knows what they're doing. My blood, urine and hormone tests matched the AK testing done by my chiropractor/acupuncturist.

The Wheat( gluten) in bread etc that most people eat these days is not good for us. But YOU are not allergic to wheat per AK on this specifically.

There are many other things in packaged foods that you could be allergic to. Many people are allergic to today's corn due to it being genetically modified (GMO) and this instead of using sugar, food manufacturers are using more corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. I just muscle tested you for an allergy to corn and high fructose corn syrup and you were positive.

As for the veggies, we feel good when we eat food that is good for us, and if we do not eat good food for several days, and replace it with "fake food" with no nutritional benefit, we will feel different. Therefore it makes sense that you say you feel "foul tempered".

If you learn the science and art of AK, then you can test each food item placed in front of you, and decide whether you want to eat something "beneficial" or "detrimental" to your health and well being........

You will always get a reaction, positive or negative, to whatever you do(or eat) Then of course..... You reap what you sow.

Awareness is the key. Pay attention!

Re: Applied Kinesiology - Real or Fake?
LisaDiane, thank you for being so open to helping others. I am truly grateful :)

Similar experience to OP. My wife has been having dizzy spells (foggy, feels like she's moving back and forth in her chair). Not vertigo, but just foggy, floaty dizzy.

She's been tested for allergies by a normal doctor, and typical ragweed, pollen. Her blood tests showed Iron deficiency, BUT, after taking iron supps, her levels are more normal than before.

She's gone to dizzy/balance center, had cat scans of her brain, been tested for pretty much anything you can imagine...and nothing. The diagnosis, anxiety.

I find this hard to believe. I have a feeling it may be gluten/corn/dairy, but not sure.

Mind doing a reading? THANK you!

AC, dizziness can be very tricky as it can mean so many things.

I am not a doctor, so consider this an only another opinion, and check what I say with medical tests. You can also try some ideas mentioned below and see if your symptoms subside.

I get that she is allergic to corn, peanuts, wheat ( gluten), soy, and artificial sweeteners. She is dehydrated and needs to drink more water, in lieu of other liquids. She muscle tested to be lacking in Vitamin B1 and B12, D, Calcium, magnesium, and iodine.

She is not allergic to milk, but I think almond milk is far superior to cow's milk. She is not allergic to almonds so this is OK to try.

I muscle tested that she has issues with viral, bacterial and fungal infection ( which could be a yeast infection). Many of these infections can have residual affects that do not show a fever, but still cause havoc to the body. Her infection resides in her bladder and intestines.

Overall her health is not as good as it should be, so try getting these issues corrected, and the dizziness may subside. Her brain, kidney and liver, and G/I tract are coming up lower than I like to see, and this means that she is toxic and has inflammation in her brain and other parts of her body.

Nutrasweeet crosses the blood brain barrier and does cause dizziness in many people. Make sure to cut out this completely and do not even chew gum with Nutrasweet in it.

Please respond and tell me if any of this makes sense to you.
