Hi OP. I think you're headed in the right direction regarding events blending in to one.

Not necessarily an immediate blend, where by explosion at plant, then ignites gas at dome collapse.

When and if something catastrophic does go down, when the 'people' demand answers, they'll already have the storyline written -

"If only we realised that the chemical explosion had weakened the strata below, creating..blah, blah, blah, which eventually collapsed the dome in its entirety, leading to a Lake Peigneur event where by the Mississipi reversed flow (happened a year back) and flooded out most of Louisiana, creating this inland sea...."

- if only we knew... right.

Part of legal jargon used by the likes of Texas Brine is that what is happening at the Napoleonville salt dome is a 'sink hole'.

It indemnifies them of any wrong doing, as a sinkhole is a natural occurance, an act of God.

But - a dome collapse, caused by negligent planning, over pressurising, rapid depressurisation, leaks, poor monitoring etc does lead to prosecution.

Time to stop referring to this as a sink hole.

It isn't, its a dome collapse.
