Hey OP, one thing that has caught the bezerkers interest, from time to time is the 'wild fire' event.

When these huge, out of control fires are plastered all over the news, a quick glance at any of your national forestry sites usually shows the Gulf states with fires of their own, but they are curiously not on the MSM.

I haven't looked of late, with the current batch of big'ns you have burning, but I bet there are some sporadic fires around the Gulf area.

In previous times, these 'small brush fires' have burned, reignited, and continued to burn for weeks. Often they are listed as controlled burns.

But how many times do you need a controlled burn at exactly the same co-ordinate?

For that reason, we assumed that what was in fact occurring, was a burn off, of methananic gasses that were rogues, uncontrolled, unable to be 'turned off'.

I bring it up, as its an added dimension to what your talking about here, and is an easy connect between point A and B, in terms of how an even bigger fire or explosion could occur.
