I tried gluten free annie's bunny pasta and it was horrible! also gluten free bread. the stuff was crazy expensive and tasted like a dirty dog. if i can't eat normal pasta there is no reason to live.

well it's not so bad. i'll just eat the bad stuff on the weekends.

i tried making beet juice this weekend and while it was like manna from heaven it shot out my ass too like a fire hose. i'm ready to resort to grass and mud pies.

There is no one perfect food, but prime elk meat is one of the best. With bolete mushrooms and dandelion greens, mmmmmm.

The best food is fish and chicken. Don't eat foods that do not grow in your own climate naturally.

Calx, do you have a bread machine? I am trying to perfect a bread recipe (gluten-free). When I do, use it on a dough setting and make it to prepare stromboli.
Essentially, just come up with new foods to have :) that utilize wild rice or sweet potatoes, etc.
Also, for mac n chz, go online or Whole Paycheck and find "Bionaturea" gluten-free pasta. IT IS GOOD and "normal tasting". The elbows ($4 p.bag) would go great ;)

I find that has a bit of an aftertaste much like endangered baby black rhino meat.

I'm still a sucker for it though.
