I use our car alarm all the time. We have assholes here at the apartment complex that won't walk their dog to the crap area... no they want to shit right out in the grassy area between the cars and the apartments... then walk away, leaving the shit for someone else to step in.

Whalla... the car alarm going off will stop a dog, mid-shit... I am sure I have seen the neighbors dog pull a turd back in before getting the hell out of there.

not everyone is lucky enough to have a car that alerts the neighborhood when you are being invaded...Just sayin

In my neighborhood, I'd know something was up and at the very least would call for help. I live in a very peaceful area. No method is perfect but it's better than nothing if you don't want to own a gun.

I like it, except for the fact that it doesn't teach the bad guys friends a lesson, and now the would be assailant will go on to rob someone elses home, and maybe murder the family in the process. Nah, I'll stick to plan #1, grab the SKS and cut the motherfucker in half.

The neighbors will eventually get so annoyed with the alarm they're bound to call for someone. Or go check things out being "prepared" themselves (that's what I do).

Plus with all of the noise you can be far more stealthy.

Right... because my car is new enough to have an alarm lol...
