Re: IDF launches strikes on Gaza, says 'there will be no return to the situation that existed before Pillar of Defense'
i'm not going to get into a religious battle here. but i want to point out what God's word says about some end time battles involving the nation of Israel. keep an eye on the news and see if these happen sooner rather that later.

Isaiah 17 - Damascus, Syria is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth. First settled around 6000 years ago, Damascus has remained relatively unscathed from natural disasters, fires, and wars. It would seem that Isaiah’s prophecy has yet to find fulfillment. However, as we see today’s headlines unfold, it is not hard to envision a scenario where Damascus might lie in ruins soon.

Perhaps Syria’s president, Bashar al-Assad, will launch a rocket/missile offensive against Israel in a last ditch effort to save his regime. If any of these weapons Syria launches are tipped with chemical/biological warheads, surely Israel would respond militarily.

Also of note is the terrorist organization Hezbollah. Formerly Hezbollah had it’s headquarters in Damascus and it still has close ties to the current Syrian government. According to both the U.S. and Israel, huge quantities of weapons have lately made there way out of Syria to Lebanon and are in the control of Hezbollah. As we have seen over the the years, Hezbollah is not shy about launching an offensive of rockets/missiles/mortars at Israel. Israel has already stated that if one of these are laden with biological/chemical weapons, it would hold Damascus directly responsible.

It says Damascus will be uninhabited by people and only animal's will live there (see Chernobyl).

Psalm 83 - The Psalmist Asaph wrote that in the latter years there would arise a confederate of peoples/nations that would consult and counsel together and try to wipe Israel of the map. The confederacy listed in Psalm 83 appears to be directly around current day Israel and are some the most dogmatic haters of the Jewish nation on Earth.

The present day names of the peoples/nations are:

tents of Edom—Palestinians and Southern Jordanians
Ishmaelites—Saudis
Moab—Palestinians and Central Jordanians
Hagrites—Egyptians
Gebal—Hezbollah and Northern Lebanese
Ammon—Palestinians and Northern Jordanians
Amalek—Arabs of the Sinai
Philistia—Hamas of the Gaza Strip
Tyre—Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese
Assyria—Syria and Northern Iraqis

Perhaps after Damascus is nuked these peoples will come against Israel. It may not be the exact countries listed but peoples from that country.

Ezekiel 38 - The prophet Ezekiel wrote that in the last days a coalition of nations would rise up and come against Israel. For thousands of years many of these countries were adversaries of each other and it was hard to imagine them joining forces to attack Israel. Present day circumstances, however, see these countries as allies and enemies of the Jewish Nation. I believe that Ezekiel’s War (War of Gog and Magog) happens in the aftermath of Psalm 83. Although The Israeli Defense forces have the capability to emerge victorious in the Psalm 83 war, the Ezekiel coalition is too powerful for the IDF to handle. God supernaturally intervenes and destroys the invading forces.

The present day names of the nations are:

Magog, Meshech, Tubal—Russia
Persia—Iran
Ethiopia—Sudan, Somalia
Libya—Libya (may also include Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia)
Gomer—North-Central Turkey
Togarmah—Eastern Turkey

This coalition might come under the guise of retaliating for Israel attacking Iran. But ezekiel specifically says that they will come to "take a spoil." More than likely the huge Natural Gas/ oil reserves just found of the Israeli coast. I can't imagine Russia is happy about a potentially new competitor in its european natural gas market.

Within the 10 commandments, God says " Do not steal"
and "Do not kill". The Jews have violated both. I would
guess that God is not very pleased with how Jews are
treating their fellow man. One cannot say they are Gods
chosen ones whilst pissing all over His commandments.

The problem with you and people like you, is that you don't have a clue. These victimized Palestinians, who happen to live in their own lands, cannot be equated with their Jew oppressors, and that's exactly what you're doing. The whole Mid-East conflict can be traced back to Israel's violent expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians from their own land in 1948 into concentration camps, forbidding them to return. That's a 64 year reign of terror perpetrated by satanist Jews, the very same satanic Jews that want to exterminate us.

We are so fat and happy that we have forgotten that it's been less than 100 years since the barbaric events of the Bolshevik Revolution took place. For those ill informed, the Bolsheviks were Jews. The same barbarity is being carried out today by these same satanic Jews in Gaza. We are next on the agenda.

I suggest you idiots at least show some compassion and imagine what it's like to be imprisoned in the largest concentration camp in the world, Gaza, where the Jew gatekeepers regulate what little food, medical supplies, fuel for generators, and other basic needs permitted into the concentration camp. To be sure, only one tenth of what is needed for basic subsistance is allowed in by the criminal Israeli filth.

How would you like it if at 2:00 o'clock in the morning while sleeping with your family, a bulldozer came and destroyed your home? This is what Palestinians face in the West bank day in and day out. Or how would you like to wait for hours on end at an Israeli Army check point to go from one part of your country to the next. This is what Palestinians have to put up with day in and day out. Words fail to describe how vile Jews are. They are truly the plague among the peoples of the Earth.

I suggest you watch this documentary 'Tears of Gaza - The War They Don't Show You', before posting stupid comments on here again.

The Palestinians need to stop baiting the Jews into retaliating with their hopeless tit-for-tat attacks.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6116002

You claim they keep baiting the Israelis? Are you sympathetic to the Israelis? Seems so. The Palestinians, their whole families, are prisoners, in their own land. They don't control their own destiny. Israel is oppressing them on the very land they stole from them. Bad enough the Jews stole the land, but they continue in their neverending efforts to eradicate them, to ethnically cleanse them. They treat them worse than animals. They starve them, deprive them of medical supplies for their women and children, deprive them of fuel so they can have limited electricity, and murder them at will. The Jews have made their situations so hopeless, miserable, and desperate, that blowing themselves up is a relief. And you call that, or other acts out of desperation, baiting? jerkit

Israel struck targets in the Gaza Strip early Sunday morning, following rocket fire on the Sdot Negev region on Saturday night.

The IDF said that it has no intention of letting the situation return to what it was before Operation Pillar of Defense in November last year.

God didn't give the Jews that land, the Jews took it from the other Semitic people that were there. Read your bible...

1. Moses promised the promised land
2. Moses + idiots following him wandered 40 days/nights
3. Moses didn't find the promise land
4. Moses dies, not finding the promise land
5. Then poof, God tells Joshua that the land is their land and the Jews go to war with the Canaanites (primarily) to solidify their presence in that region.

And the old testament if full of wars and conflicts following Exodus and it has everything to do with the Jews TAKING the land... not really "God giving it to them."

So keep holding onto that lie.

I completely agree with you. If we didn't have "land ownership," similar to Native Americans then people who are currently stuck in Africa or other countries could migrate to lands that were more fertile and sustainable.

the Israelites were last exiled en masse from the land of Israel after the destruction of the second temple in 70 CE. some remained, most migrated to europe and north africa, yet kept their dream of returning alive for 2000 years through prayer, study, and observance. in the nineteenth century, an austrian jew had the idea of combating anti-semitism by petitioning the nations of the world to re-establish the jewish homeland in israel. most orthodox jews opposed this idea, seeing its origins in secular nationalism and not in the patient awaiting of the fulfillment of G-d's promises through divine providence alone. some changed their view after the jewish state was established, seeing it as the fulfillment of the biblical promise. there is no consensus today on this matter among the orthodox jewish community.
according to some views, the leadership of the jewish world today are corrupted by the "mixed multitudes", infiltrators of the jewish people who rise to power and abuse the loyalties of the community. the messiah will bring the jewish people back into alignment with the spark they carry through prayer, study and observance, bring back the leadership of the house of david, and restore jewish sovereignty according to G-d's laws, with the approval and invitation of the nations of the world.

Re: IDF launches strikes on Gaza, says 'there will be no return to the situation that existed before Pillar of Defense'
Isreal is located roughly on the site of the ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah. It is the birthplace of the Hebrew language spoken in Israel and of the Abrahamic religions, first as Judaism and later of Christianity.

I'm thinking this is why the brits gave this to them... it is their most logical "home" on the planet.

Judea, home of the Jews in ancient times, was conquered by the Romans and renamed Palestine.

Palestine was later conquered and inhabited by Arabs for over a thousand years.

The Zionist movement arose to restore the Jews to Israel, largely ignoring the existing Arab population.

Following the Balfour Declaration in 1917, Palestine was granted to Britain as a League of Nations mandate to build a national home for the Jewish people.

The Arabs resented the Jews coming in to take their land. Led by Grand Mufti Hajj Amin El Husseini, they rioted repeatedly and later revolted, creating a history of enmity between Jews and Arabs in Palestine.

In 1947, the UN partitioned the land into Arab and Jewish states. The Arabs did not accept the partition and war broke out. The Jews won a decisive victory, expanded their state and created several hundred thousand Palestinian refugees.

The Arab states refused to recognize Israel or make peace with it. Wars broke out in 1956, 1967, 1973 and 1982, and there were many terror raids and Israeli reprisals.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Main Elements...
Judea was over-run by Roman Empire and renamed Palestine.
Arabs over-ran Judea/Palestine after collapse of the Roman Empire.
In 1917 Rothschilds used their Darwinian Selected Stooges, and Psychopaths in Western Europe to issue a "Declaration" from Britain ordering the existing Roman/Arab/Jews to VACATE.
Balfour...
At a War Cabinet meeting, held on 31 October 1917, Balfour suggested that a declaration favorable to Zionist aspirations would allow Great Britain "to carry on extremely useful propaganda both in Russia and America"
Are today's Jews in Israel the same Israelites from the bible? Honest question, trying to understand.
They aren't the same. The real "Israelites" the lost ten tribes who were from the original "Kingdom of Israel" who were deported never to return. When Jesus came in the flesh he said he came to save those who were lost - the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Then Jesus said to the woman, "I was sent only to help God's lost sheep--the people of Israel."
Matthew 15:24
The Jews weren't lost - they were in the land when Jesus walked it......the lost sheep of the House of Israel were scattered abroad all through Europe at that time - where were the apsostles sent to???
“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and COMMANDED them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the LOST sheep of the house of Israel.” Jesus knew where the lost sheep were......
Jesus “came to his own” - the House of Judah, the Jews - “and his own received him not” - (John 1:11). Jesus was of the lineage of David, of the House of Judah. When His own people - the Jews - rejected Him, He did not turn to the Gentiles. It was Paul who did. Instead, Jesus said to the Gentile woman:
“I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel” - (Matthew 15:24).
The Jews in Israel today are not Israelites.
You are wrong - the Israelites were taken into captivity in 722 BCE by the Asssyrians. There were no more Israelites in the land when the temple was destroyed in 70 AD. It was only the Jews who were exiled this time around and also scattered among the nations.
This verse should make you think if you are capable of it as so many Christians today are blinded by Satan:
James 1 vs 1:
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.
The above was written by James to the JEWS....and notice how James addressed those who were supposedly lost? The apostles knew where the lost sheep of Israel were at the time as did the Jews.
Do not equate the Jews of today with those from the Kingdom of Israel as they are not the same people.
