What 'truth' do you speak of? I do not post here so I can 'celebrate'. If some find my posts pearls delivered to swine, that is their take on it, not mine. I rather look at it as food for thought more than anything. I enjoy the dialogue they create.

and at one time I visualized something with a movement of my body. As I stood up I held my hands in front of my belly, as if I was holding something. Then I started moving both my hands at the same time, placing them far from 'it' and then close again. There was something regarding the condition of 'it' in relation to the proximity of what the hands represented, then there was the understanding of the movement as a whole and how the knowing of such would influence on the condition that 'it' would present.

Great question. I feel a lot of it is 'truth', but the words I used back then had too much baggage attached to them.

The basic gist I was trying to relay to my sister is correct, I believe. If I were to write this now, I would have left out specific words. Back then I was still trying to figure out a lot of things that I have learned since then. It's kind of neat, because I can see what I was being influenced by at the time.

I was reading up on the WingMaker's story. I was reading some stuff on Christ Consciousness and the collective. I was reading some on Ken Wilbur, etc. I had yet to really integrate some of the eastern philosophies and quantum natures of reality. Though I knew about them, and studied them for years, I can see that they were not present within my actions at that time except for superficially.

Also, my sister is religious, though is extremely open minded, so I was gearing the conversation we had in the context of souls and Christ Consciousness so she could more easily understand what I was trying to say.

potential is proportional to perspective. the greater the perspective the greater the potential. the narrower the perspective the shallower the potential.

separation is a non sequitur, its ambiguities in relations to cause are only related on a case by case basis. as such, it has no quantitative language value. e.g. separation from a obsessive compulsive disorder is preferred. separation from a loving relationship is detrimental. the potential to perceive the choice and act accordantly is balanced reasoning.

ocd is a progressive compulsive addiction. in order to reach ones potential one must decide what really matters.
the ocd intellect often make rationalization that the compulsive behavior is beneficial.

many on this site suffer from ocd. it is most noticeable with those that attack everything that they are unable to comprehend with a single purpose of mind. other cases involve those that are unable to separate themselves from the pull to post. for many this place is a compulsive addiction.

perfectionism gone badly astray is the root of ocd.

Just taking up for SS. He does not deserve to be trashed or verbally threatened by anyone.

He's one of the good guys. He's deep and thoughtful, and wants to share his knowledge and experiences with other people.

I've read all his threads and considering the ugly comments that have been hurled at him over the years, the man has kept himself out of the mud pits.

Really nasty barbs, and the guy takes it for awhile, and even when he comes back at someone it's more bark than bite.

I am about as normal as I can be- considering.

I like SS, like his spirit. It's not hero worship, and I'm not a cultie by any means.

I will continue to take up for SS or for anyone who is willing to put themselves "out there" with the truth.
