I did that with a jpeg image and it's 57.6k, but it errors out saying it's an incorrecty file
 Quoting: Clovis

I don't have enough to go on, sorry. 57.6kB is well under the 100kB limit. Not sure what "incorrect file" means, if your file's extension is .jpeg then maybe it has to be renamed to .jpg

Well, it's definitely a .jpg. I'll figure it out.

I know a lot of Alex Grey's work is on this site. Much of his art has come from his experiences with DMT and Ayahuasca. I had very deep experiences with both recently. If you have interest or experiences, check out the thread

One of the reasons I started this thread in the first place was to have something else to look at besides doom and gloom. With everyone's contributions, this thread has become a source of inspiration for my art and a place to get away from all the negativity around us. I am so glad this caught on.. Thank you all!

Something deep, and thought provoking.

I have this theory that you can make any sentence seem profound by writing the name of a dead philosopher at the end of it - Plato

Sonic, I am so amazed at your love of images and creativity. Is all of this a hobby or what? Thank you for so many wonderful images and being so helpful. You are a real blessing to this thread. hf

Thanks for the nice compliment U3 cheer

And L/L I'm glad you enjoy the direction that your thread has been taking.
spidey123

It's only recently that I started applying some transformations to snaphots of videos that I've been taking for a long time. It's really on pages 91-92 of "General Smilies" that I started, then did some stuff on "Request your animated GIF 2.0" then continued here.

Edit: Well, I checked them out. The second one I had trouble loading the page....because of the embedded videos...but I like what you're doing here better, anyway. So do you have some neat equipment to do all this?

Great art on this thread, I enjoy coming back and seeing what's been posted every day, thanks for starting the thread, OP. hf

Here's one by Albert Bierstadt, part of the Hudson River School of painters. I had a poster of this as a teenager, used to look at it for hours, a lot of detail in this one.

Here's a SUPER HIGH definition of that painting if you wanna look at all the details. The colors are completely different for some reason tho.

hf The original version I believe is at the Brooklyn Museum, fairly large, I think it's close to mural size, if memory serves.

Thank you! Yes, I tried to find a lighter version, it seems a lot of the online versions are very dark for some reason, great to see detail, thanks!

OMG, it's awesome. I see there's a story in the foreground. There's a hunting party. For some reason, an indian shot a deer and killed it but his saddle fell off and him with it. It knocked him out (although he's really flat so it might just be blankets but it sure looks like a body and mocassin) and his horse ran away, with the other indians in the hunting party and the dog, giving chase. Plus another horse without a rider but with a saddle.

There are also teepees by a river, with 3 indians on horses, in the river, letting the horses drink.

But, for me, it's the grandeur of the sky and mountains...and esp. in the background, that small cove of light that really catches my attention.

Edit: I only saw 6 birds!!! Maybe an eagle, up high and then 5 flying away towards woods.1dunno1
