Did you try other colors? Weird you should say that coz I had that same thought after I posted it, that the border could've actually been better with yellow from the blond hair or colors from the 2 other kimonos. There might've been enough pink already with the pink kimono, hair and the leaves in the trees. Why don't you try it and we can vote? I would love to see the contrast border color with it. [link to imgur.com] I like the blue, best. It's amazing what a difference it makes, isn't it? I just used my webcam and took photos of 4 of my sketches. They are smeared looking because my webcam sucks, but at least you get the idea. I uploaded them here. I like that 2nd sketch, the woman I like the yellow too. Either of them works for me. The original color was too much like the rest of the colors in the image. Thanks. I have a bunch of fun sketches somewhere, lol! I only found the one with the guy reading the newspaper for now. Anyway, I have one I love. It's folks at a cocktail party. But, no telling where I stashed it, heh! Last Edited by ERE3 on 05/06/2013 10:18 PM "We are the music makers. And we are the dreamers of dreams." Willy Wonka |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 5454839 United States 05/07/2013 06:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I love art. Quoting: love/light Be it colorful, bland, meaningful, or meaningless, art is something to be admired. Please post your favorite paintings, drawings, sculptures, artists, anything really. Let's try to make this an informative and fun thread. This is Gabriel Martínez Meave. As described in the link, he does occult illustrations. There are several examples on this website. [link to www.sdwhaven.com] Next up is Alex Grey. [link to upload.wikimedia.org] He is a "spiritual" or "psychedelic" artist. He uses vivid color and pattern combinations in most of his work. [link to alexgrey.com] [link to iasos.com] Here is a random painting. The artist is Jaime Mitropoulos. [link to 24.media.tumblr.com] One more for now. This is Svenja Jodike. [link to webneel.com] I love the Surrealists, like Dali, and Magritte. Modern Art is vile Zionistic trash, and filth. Some guys takes a dump in a can, and seals it up? Another guy pisses on a crucifix, in a bottle? Yet another "artist" butchers a cow, or a shark, and sticks it into a glass tank full of formaldehyde? Some vile Jewish slut makes her shitty bed and stained panties a work of art? They can blow me. u dont have to get all racist about it. that work has its purposes and just because it doesnt agree with you does not mean its zionist |

Any pixel artists here on the thread? Pixelling is basically painting with dots, labourious but fun :) Quoting: paler dragonpic That looks great! =) How old were you? Btw, did you by any chance inadvertently flatten the pic before uploading to GLP? Coz correct me if I'm wrong but I get the feeling that it was supposed to look more like this: [link to i.imgur.com] Hi Sonic, I was about 20, very young :P Yeah the image looks a bit squashed, basically the PC screen resolution that we were working with at the time was 320x200 and the game area(visuals) had to fit in that res hight wise. So in drawing the dragon I had to keep it all contained otherwise the dragon wouldnt be viewable as the character walks across screen. I like the more stretched out aspect that you have applied, looks about right :) |

Great sketches U3 You have really good eyesight or you are very psychic. It really doesn't look the same as in person, but yes, it's by his right arm. I was so shocked when I saw it, lol! It's RamaKrishna and he was known for worshipping the goddess, Kali. I believe that's her in the picture. He has a very sweet spirit.
