ST. PETERSBURG -- St. Petersburg police said they were forced to shoot a woman at her home on 13th Avenue N. when she pointed a gun at officers. Police said the woman has died after an officer shot her in the chest. "She pulled back the blinds and was standing there with a 38 special, pointing it at the officer when he fired," said Bill Profitt, SPPD.
