In the end Crowley didn't care much for Hubbard at all and had a few choice words about him that were very derogatory.
Hubbard knew Parsons who was a the scientist who founded JPL in Pasadena,CA. Parson's was basically a genius, unfortunately he got close to Hubbard and Hubbard got close to Parson's wife. He absconded with her, stealing Parson's money and fortune. Funny thing is, Crowley actually told Parson's that Hubbard was not to be trusted and that he would do exactly that but Parson's didn't listen.
