Why did he submit to the cross? Because it was Preordained Was not EVERYTHING he did here on this planet... And I'm talking everything, probably every single decision he made his entire life, not an EXAMPLE for us? Jesus was born to subject Himself to this world and to go to the Cross and die for our sins, and to rise again on the third day. He went to the Cross to save us and to conquer death---to be a covering for the sins of the world because He is not willing for any to perish. We are not God. We are sinful and cannot cover anyone's sins. Jesus is coming again, and when He comes at the end of the 7 year tribulation, He will slay those who are amassed to kill one another, and when they see Him, they will all turn on Him and try to kill Him. Then Jesus will slay them. About 2,000 years ago, He came as a lamb; when He returns, He will be a lion!
