I guess I should clarify a bit, since it seems everyone thinks that if a burglar or someone tries to enter my house, that I am just going to let him in and give him what he wants.

Someone earlier caught on to what I was getting at, but of course was on opposite sides...

I'm speaking directly about tyrants and tyrannical governments, and the potential of all to happen that everyone here thinks is going to happen. Namely, the tyrannical subjugation of everything that is right and good, which is slowly happening now. There are a lot of people here who spend a great deal of time researching how they are doing it, so I figured it would be a good place to bring it up and get a feel for how people react to it.

Example: Robert Blum back in the day was a social "warrior" who fought against the powers that be in his day and age. When he saw things that were unjust and how people were being treated from a most worldly perspective unfairly, he decided to go political and kept going and pressing until he was dispatched from this Earth by gunpowder...

What is the purpose here as a Christian? To overthrow the tyranny that obviously God is OK with being in power? Have you ever thought about that aspect? If God didn't want TPTB in power, would he not prevent them from being in power?
