Should I spend $2k and drive a Lamborghini Murciélago for 4 hours?

My friend did it and I don't think he was that impressed. I had a Z06 then a Z51 so I drove daily a supercar equivalent and it's fun but it's not balls out fun. Then again if you've never driven anything really quick it could be fun. The problem is you have such a short time to drive it you wouldn't be able to really drive it probably unless you are a very experienced driver. Fuck it. Do it!!!

At exoticsracing you get an experienced passenger who will not hold you back but keep you safe on the track when passing other cars and keeping control in the corners. They also have many cars to choose from.

Take the 2000 bones buy groceries find a park or public place were you can set up food for people. Hire someone to help so its stress free, give the food away to all who pass by... You will have invested in a more profound experience. And perhaps you will meet an amazing person that will add value to you for the rest of your days... This is far cooler than investing into the pleasure of driving a machine... Just sayin...

On the autobahn it would be worth it. Most places, no, cause you'd be unable to see what the car can do.

After driving a Mercedes in Europe, which i can't afford here, I'm ruined for life. It was a great car, responsive and agile like I never imagined a car could be. My Toyota is like driving a lawnmower compared to it, but affordable.

Look at your own life? Do you give to charity or help others? Do you treat others fairly in all your dealings with them? Is this money going to take away from any good things for others (not for you) that you could do but won't be able to if you blow this $2000??

If you can afford it, you do help others, you do give money to charity on a regular basis - then there is nothing wrong with indulging yourself once in a while. If having this experience means that much to you - then go for it. But please shop around on price! Seems like a LOT of money for a few hours. You could get a lot of cars for a week for that kind of money - and I'm not talking old Chevrolets either. Don't get fucked just because someplace rents "exotics". And look out for the "non-optional" collision damage waiver - it going to cost you an extra 50 to $200/per day so if there is a scratch or scrape or large ding, you are covered. It's like 0 deductible insurance coverage at full cover. Costs like hell but most places that rent exotics INSIST that you buy it. Given what it could cost to repaint a fender on one of these - it may be a good idea!

No matter how careful you are, there is always some asshole who'll key the car if they see it parked, etc. And you're liable if it happens while you've got it rented.

Indulging yourself is one thing. Being stupid is another. Ask yourself if it is really THAT important to you in view of what else you could do with the money??

But if you worked even remotely hard for that money then you would be an idiot to blow it on a spin in a Lamborghini. You should save that money in case you need it in the future.

Or even better given the times in which we live and what we now face you should use that money to stockpile a store of food/houshold products for your family, that's what a real man would do, not spend it driving someone else's car.

Heck you might even end up buying it, you can get an old Ferrari 308 here in the states for $15,000 or so.
