If it works so good, why are there still so many abortions???

Any girl can go to any local health department in the nation and get birth control at any time..

How come the abortion rate is still so high??? seems like there shouldn't be that many at all with birth control so readily available. I don't understand.

And who are these girls who wait until they are past the 4th month to go have an abortion??? why would you wait that long in the first place??? I don't get that one either.

I'm really confused. it doesn't make sense.
