Re: UFO mear miss with Passenger Plane in England.
This report has been fully investigated, and all the usual suspects dissmissed.

In its report, the board dismissed a variety of possible explanations, including that the object was an untraced aircraft, a manned balloon or a weather balloon.

The report indicates that the near miss occured at approximately 3500 ft, East of Glasgow airport.

Thats pretty low, so I wonder if there were any witnesses on the ground.

Report appears to originate from the Daily Mail - or 'Daily Fail' as it is commonly known in UK.

So the report is likely to have been at the very least exaggerated, or sensationalised, or maybe most of the details might be just plain invented.

There is usually either far more to a story - or sometimes much, much less (depending which way they want to push it) - than the Daily Fail's report.

Your comments are appreciated.

One would need to have "local" knowledge of the practices of the "local" media to be able to make the statements that you have, so they are appreciated.

But, being the 'devils advocate', that report would be a very easy document to obtain and verify.

I wonder if any one is perhaps prepared to make a phone call and question the accuracy of that article.

It doesent sound like a difficult task?

Then we could settle the matter of accuracy once and for all.

Just a thought.

Errr...

Perhaps, but also perhaps a more pro-active approach might work too, after all who has what to gain or lose, its a report.

All you are doing is checking its contents!
