My company got notice to bid the mechanical on a new Google billion dollar data center. The bid is due in the next few months and work is to start late this year. Check this out…lots of data centers going up [link to www.datacenterknowledge.com] It must be a lucrative business because we landed another contract for 1.1 m upgrade for “ I wont name them” company The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help. |

MarkinAZ User ID: 20006444 United States 05/02/2013 11:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If they waste much time on my household, they're going to be bored to tears! I can just imagine the discussions about Preparation H vs Anusol, or which hair colorist can keep the gray covered the longest between touch-ups and at what price? Or the ongoing argument about lease a car so someone can have another facelift, or forget the facelift and buy the car outright and have no payments on it. That should just thrill them to listen to that discussion alone! This is what people talk about when they've been together for a LONG LONG time and know each other far better than most people ever want to know another person. When you've been thru three decades of "in sickness and in health" and you meant it and you stuck by each other even thru chemo therapy, plastic surgery, hair transplants, hip replacements (three of them so far!) and a myriad of dental work, cataract surgery, lasix to correct vision that was botched once and then later corrected finally, and so on and so on... their eavesdropping would bore the hell out of them or give them the material for a new sit-com about aging adults. One or the other! And to think the government might actually pay someone good money to listen to this shit and 'evaluate it" for content, etc. Amazing waste of taxpayers money - but so are most things the government does these days... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 8071892 United States 05/02/2013 11:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I still find it remarkable that people think anything otherwise. They know everything you are doing at any given moment and have for years. There are hundreds of millions of us to watch and thousands of them watching. You do the math. If you think there is any way to stop them from knowing about you your nuts. Unless you drop out with no electronic device on you whatsoever in the middle of true wilderness (there is none left) they know. Period. That or when the electrical system shuts down. |
