Another sign Obama does not believe in freedom - Pentagon statement.
The Pentagon released a statement that they will now start to court martial soldiers who display their faith.

From article.

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”.

The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

Well for one, I would say that yes it is primarily targeted against Christians.

In addition, I do not care which religion it is, last time I checked we had freedom of religion here in the US. It is a sad day when soldier can not express themselves by way of faith, regardless of what that faith is.

There is an old saying, "I may not like or believe what you say, I will however defend your right to say it".

It appears that this is no longer the case.

Of course he isn't a fucking christian. None of these people are, they are Satanist and Lucferians.

And being christian isn't what you think it is either. Unless you are taking a gnostic perspective on Christ, you are just participating in the same old sun worship which has been here from day one.

See this is the problem. We have a Constitutional right to practice religion freely. Believe what we want to believe, exercise that belief. Now the pentagon under Obama's new guy is saying the very people who protect that right can not do it.

There are very few soldiers anywhere in the world that do not practice one religion or another. I am not so sure I would want any army that is pure atheist.

It amazes me that one someone mentions religion, they go ape shit in one way or another. Already there are two post telling em to get over it.

No I will not get over it. It is not about my faith, but rather their ability to show their faith. Be allowed to become a Christian, Muslim, Jew, or Scientology. Heck I served with someone who practiced Druidism.

Now our soldiers can not do that? The very people who are to defend our rights are having theirs taken away?

If our soldiers are not allowed the right of freedom of religion, how can we expect them to defend ours.

owned? Not really.

Yes, Muslims should be allowed to praise Allah, Scientology practitioners praise Tom Cruise, Christians should be allowed to praise Christ.

It is about freedom of religion, not this religion or that one.

With the new rules soldiers could no longer go to Church, no longer pray in the presence of others, or display their faith.

That is the issue, not which faith they practice. I do believe this will apply to Christians more than anyone else though. To forbid a Muslim the same rights would result in being called a fear monger or something. Only Christians can be abused without recourse.

Did we ever think that we would see Christians persecuted in the United States? Welcome to "change you can believe in."

It is time for Christians to leave the military because the military leadership no longer represents the values that we were raised with.

So, are they discharging all the Chaplin's now?

I am by no means a religtard, but I respect anyone's belief and would defend their right to believe.

With that said, I'd say there will be a mass exodus from the military coming soon.

That is my point and one reason why I said let the persecutions begin.

To be court martialed over ones faith because you wear a cross or have a tat?

Chaplain's serve a very important role in the US Military. They are more than just preachers. When I was in it was optional to go to Church. Now that is not even an option!

Sad, very sad.
