high oleic soybean oil will eventually replace what we're using now and will be MUCH healthier, perhaps the healthiest oil one could consume as everyone seems to agree, paleo types and vegans, that oleic acid, the omega 9 oil, is good for you compared to other types of fats.

It's more heat stable, less prone to turn rancid, and has a high cooking/burning temp.

Right now the cheapo, crap soybean oil is cheaper and companies will always do what they can to maximize every cent of profit.. trying to find a salad dressing with canola or another high oleic oil is difficult.
