I can only find Farage (being English) and him being one of the only people standing up to the EU.

Hey OP.

I read your whole post.
It seems like where you live, life is more enjoyable.
It is unfortunate this is happening to your country, but at least you got to live free until now.
What are we going to do? We can't just let the whole world succumb to this.

I'm still young and I just started to really help my family to grow food and all kind of things, I started to really enjoy this village and opportunities it freely gives me, so it makes me very sad to see this coming. At least I enjoyed this like you said. I was wondering the same question, what are we going to do, I belive I know, we are just going to sit and watch, it's so sad, we are so pathetic to let this happen, I am.. We can't let it my friend but I'm afraid we will, people just got to many problems and worries that they don't care or have time to rise up and remove these evil things.. Sad so sad..

Well OP, if you're still here...they may change the world around us, but we must not let them change US and our what we stand for in our HEARTS.

Stay strong.

Welcome to the antichrist police state. Soon you will have to change your religion too. Most likely it will be the Muslim religion or outright satan worship.

This was prophesied in the Bible. The people of the old Roman empire will regather and form the antichrist one world police state.

Other than that I wouldn't be alarmed.

I honestly couldn't give a shit what happens outside the United States, however this European Union thing has got me curious.

WTF did you people do? Is this EU thing like the US with many states?

I don't live under a rock, because I have heard the EU mentioned before but what the fuck is going on over there?

Hello
Cannot be bothered to type this out again right now, but it may explain some of it to you. Apologies it is not directed at you specifically.

---------------------------------------------------------

Well you are automatically tied now to the Lisbon Treaty.
The Lisbon Treaty was originally under the name of the "Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe". This was rejected by France and The Netherlands and so, by clever re-wording (though not actually changing any of the laws) they renamed it to the Lisbon Treaty. Countries such as the UK had prominant people placed in office to force through this treaty as the public did not want it, and if it had of gone to referendum then it would have been rejected. At this point all countries had to agree for a law or treaty to be passed in the EU. The Irish were given a referendum, they voted No. The EU were not happy with a no vote, and through many debates in Brussels (you can see them on youtube) the commission and other MEPs barring a couple of alliances within the EU said to go ahead anyway, and that this was not an issue. After the no, the EU forced the Irish to retake the referendum until they got the answer they wished. Eventually they got a yes.

This treaty allows for the EU commission (which is unelected by the people and 'voted' for by MEPS, though Barroso as an example was the only option for example) to come up with laws that cannot be opposed by member states, as per the conditions of the treaty. Members may Veto, though the consequences of this means they are ostracised from talks. Within the EU there are also members who sit who have been elected by noone, just placed in seats of power. Cathy Ashton is a British example of this, she was the lady who forced through the Lisbon Treaty in the UK (she had never had a job, nor been elected to any position in her life) and has been rewarded with a seat of power and in a policy making power within the EU.

Inside the EU you are now signed up to numerous laws which means you cannot govern huge amounts of things. You cannot govern EU immigration into your country, you are signed up to the Common Fisheries Policy which means that you have no control of your own Waters, which will be devestating to huge communities in Croatia as you have a large amount of fishermen, or so it seemed when I was there. You are signed up to CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) which removes the ability of your government to influence and decide Farming and Agricultural Policy within member states on the most part. Environmental Policy is centralised also. At the moment (and this would have been passed but for a UK Veto, though they are still trying to pass it) fiscal policy would be out of the hands of member states, meaning that taxes upon businesses etc. are dictated by the EU and not member states. The list is endless.
The important thing to remember, is the Lisbon Treaty means that laws passed in the EU now apply to all of the member states and your government cannot change it. To try and block laws inside the EU has caused great tension especially in the case of the UK, and unless you have a strong government, you will be signing yes, yes and yes. Your power has been removed.

Look at Greece. There president was removed a puppet government put in charge. The same in Italy. In Cyprus the banks collapsed and Cypriot savings were TAKEN from the people to pay for the bailout. Not just taxes, but their actual savings. The Germans who had bonds within the Cypriot banks however were allowed to keep their bonds and they were not removed. The Cypriot people were stolen from, and there was nothing their government could do to protect it. These countries, along with Portugal, Ireland and Spain have now had devestating Austerity measures placed upoin them, that even if puppet governemnts wanted to change, they could not, as per the terms of the FORCED bailouts. Democracy has been removed from these countries and they are now colonies of the EU. Hell, the EU was dictating when countries could have elections!

In Romania there were mass protests last year for the removal of the President. Eventually he stepped down and a new president was put in place (he I admit was a moron also), though his wishes to remove and repeal certain laws that were under EU control was hhis downfall. In the last few months of last year, he was removed and relaced by no other than the President in which the omanian people had protested for so long to remove in the first place. You have no control left. If they do not like who is in charge, woops, he is gone and replaced with a man of their choosing. The forests of Transylvania have been sold off through EU policy to open up the marketys to German Business to make further profits, and to exploit a time of economic hardship. German Businesses and Banks have invaded this country much to the destruction of many businesses of Romanian origin.

I could say more, but I have already written alot. Just realise that many of the things your government could control have now been taken away. Things that you feel you wish to change under EU law will not be possible, even by a change of your own government. What is more of a worry though, is that this is just the start. The Lisbon Treaty gives huge power to the EU to do what they want without having to ask the people of Europe what they wish. The people who make these decisions are unelected by the people and in most cases are 'elected' by MEPs, though for many of these positions there was only one choice to vote upon. Others were not voted for at all and just placed in power.

You are a colony now, with minimal choice on what happens in your country, and the powers of the EU are moving ever closer to a statehood of the EU. They are EU fanatics who want for one thing. A United States of Europe with them having control over policy in all member states, they do not even deny it and they are pushing for more and more powers as they days pass. Just watch some of the EU meetings on youtube, you will see what they wish for.

Welcome colony 28, hope you enjoyed democracy whilst you had it.
