I know someone has likely beaten me to this but global warming is real enough. Warming in some places means cooling in others. They call it climate change for folks like you. Fossil fuels probably aren't the cause but it's there.
Its 15C outside right now. I once got out of a tent during this same period, years ago to find fresh snow on the ground. Certainly seems warmer to me.
