The final verse of Isaiah 17 - verse 14 - tells how it will happen. it says:

14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.


Trouble in the evening - as the sun sets and nighttime falls. And before the morning "he" is NOT! (The "he" is thought to refer to the enemies of Israel in Syria and nearby countries. Israeli's believe that these people have long stolen land that was given to them BY GOD HIMSELF thru the Prophet Moses when they were led out of Egypt and into the Promised land.

One of these evenings we're going to see trouble and fighting in Damascus and by morning - it will no longer exist. A nuclear weapon? A major Earthquake? Some other Natural Disaster? Or something not even dreamed of by most of us? None of us know which method will cause it in the end - but you can bet that if it's in prophecy, it will be fulfilled and fulfilled completely as it was told to Isaiah 3000 years ago!

Large explosions are being reported in the Mount Qassioun area of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Syrian state TV says a military research centre has been attacked.

None of those attacking on the streets of Syria are Syrians.
