Overall I think he or George Knapp would make a better host. They show more interest in the topics discussed by guests than no name does. At least Ian Punnett is gone, I got tired of his shows about superheroes and comic book stuff, he was annoying.

Like him or not, at least he can do a decent show with any guest about any topic. He seems to have knowledge in many areas or at least does his homework prepping for the show.

The best C to C host was Hilly Rose -- he took over in 1998 when Art first "retired."

didn't like him at first, but his voice grows on ya. i only listened to saturday nite shows after awhile! c2c is on its way out.

He turns up the volume on himself and down on his guests for my money if he is going to do that he (or anyone in radio) should take it upon himself to take some voice lessons from an opera singer so their tone is a bit more tolerable and refrain from ordering the audience to (Prepair themselves a proper cup of tea (most of his audience is driving) or ordering them to 'stand on their hind legs' as if they were animals before hearing him

I got news for you bimbo. ALL radio stations use compression and expansion outboard units that are designed to 'aurally'
give you a false impression that your hearing a 'bassy' voice; when in actuality Wells deep voice is no so bassy.
