Three corrections to the thread.

One Teti DeJesus the man on the main kidnappers FB page is not directly related to the victimized Dejesus family. Though the Family of Gina DeJesus did go to see Ariel Castro/Main Kidnapper play with his band often.

Second; Article penned by Ariel Castro about how the kidnappings affected the neighborhood was not penned by the main kidnapper but his son, still something fishy in my opinion about that whole thing, read the article here; [link to twitter.com (secure)]

last: The house the victims were held is owned by the main kidnapper Ariel Castro, I incorrectly pulled the tax records of the neighbor’s house.

yea , I'm all emotional here. So sad that Amanda's mother passed away, but this is truly an amazing story.

We thought the serial killer Anthony Sowell got em, I’m speechless the fear this put in the city for decades shadowed everything.

Kidnaper was a 52 year old school bus driver with no criminal background.

oh he did have a domestic violence conviction about ten years ago? But he had the one girl for over 12 years, very strange.

This is AMAZING news for the City, Unbelievable Sadly Amandas mother passed away after Psychic (Fraud) Sylvia Browne told her that Amanda was dead. SO sad.

Everyone thought these three young ladies were long gone, never to be seen again. This is an incredible story with a miraculous happy ending. OP you should change your headline to "3 Cleveland Girls.......... This story will be national by morning.

This is unbelievable and fantastic news after all these years.

Once every 10 year hear about one girl but this is unprecedented three kidnap victims all alive in one house.

People looked for weeks for these girls.

They were still holding vigils for them.



This one was April 2 2013 on Gina's 9 year kidnaping anniversary.

The family was right human trafficking.

Hundreds of people gathered in the streets near 2207 Seymour Avenue in Cleveland, where the women were discovered. Cleveland police said Berry, DeJesus and Michelle Knight are alive, talking and appear to be OK.

“I heard screaming… And I see this girl going nuts trying to get outside,” said Charles, a neighbor who found the women. “I go on the porch and she said ‘Help me get out. I’ve been here a long time.’ I figure it was domestic violence dispute."

“She comes out with a little girl and says ‘Call 911, my name is Amanda Berry’… When she told me, it didn’t register.” He said he made the call and gave Berry the phone. When police arrived, officers asked him if he knew who he rescued.

A witness who spoke Spanish told NewsChannel5's Stephanie Ramirez that he helped break down the door. He said there was a child who was about 4 or 5 years old with Berry, as well as other children inside the house. He said he recognized Berry from posters.

Officers have a suspect in custody. There will be a media briefing Tuesday morning.
