The USCG is THE first line of defense in this country and even has rank over the Navy while in US waters.

And if District 7 was ordered to stand down then you can bet ALL districts are in the same situation! That means nobody is watching our coasts and ports be cause they don't have money for fuel, same shit happened when Clinton was in office..

I'd watch that port in Mobile that had those barges blow up. Fewer civilian eyes will be on the area as they clean up and investigate. Open waters and an unwatched port make for excellent smuggling conditions. Necessary if the item is very large or clearly dangerous.

This cut of critical missions is not true. Some training and discretionary travel is curtailed, not eliminated. Some patrols are cut out that are not critical.

As a member that works in D7 with the auxiliary and with active duty daily. All United States Coast Guard directives are published. Base Miami Beach is as active as always with cutters and boat crews always underway this story is completely false and the origin website has already pulled the story.
