Ender's Game Movie Trailer!

I consider myself an Ender's Game/Ender's Shadow master. I've read and researched the series for years. The movie appears to follow fairly closely to the books and includes some of the details I was hoping for. Can't wait to see it.

What most people don't realize is that it was Bean who gave Ender the idea to go directly for the planet and ignore the hundreds of thousands of ships defending it. The alien Formic race made a mistake in allowing them to get close, thinking they were blocking their escape, but not realizing they were on a suicide mission, a Xenocide mission.

And finally, Bean tells one of the pilots to set off the MD Device (The Doctor) in his ship to increase the amount of matter in the reaction and spread to the planet. It worked.

Just like the last Star Trek. "Your papers, citizen", remember that one? They should've named the last Star Trek "How to turn a cooperative interstellar society into intergalactic fascist dictatorship in just 90 minutes". The next one will, most assuredly, be even worse.

People should read the book instead, but I'm certain that younger generations will simply love the movie. They've been force-fed such crap from a far too early age and for far too long to know any better. Not even reading the book may help them get it right anymore.

I have been waiting for this since I was a kid. I remember back when youtube first came out people used to make fake trailers for Ender's Game. SUPER STOKED!

The book was essentially soft core gay porn. Lots of talk about young boys walking around naked. Lame and totally overrated.

I believe the trailer does not show the climax scene in Enders Game. It appears to show the first firing, but then they played with the CGI, that planet and that weapon are of 2 different scenes.

ENDER'S GAME (as a visual experience) looks like Anthony Burgess's Clockwork Orange set in space, where a band of uncontrollable yobbos go about their deadly and immoral business of ETHNICALLY CLEANSING THE UNIVERSE.

How do you know that if follows the book? The movie is not out yet.
Just because a movie trailer kind of follows what you read in a book does not mean that the entire movie will.

Having read all the books it will be interesting to see how close they follow the book, and if they intend to follow the other books in the series... as a stand alone it makes a great humans are the best, as a series it is something much more.. I suspect this will end up a stand alone..

Nor will it mean that it follows the series, if you only take the first book then it portrays humanity in one light while the rest of the books fleshes that out and gives a different perspective... I'll be as interested to see how they deal with that as I am eager to see the book on the silver screen.
