I remember her from before she became a rapper/musician, must've been around '89, '90 or so, she was acting in a soap series that my then girlfriend was watching all the time, As The World Turns.... Then, I saw her live with The Fugees, long before they blew up and got big, they were the supporting act for Southern rap group Arrested Development, at a show in Rotterdam, great show from both acts... Must've been around '92 or so... Years later, saw her again, again with The Fugees, again in Rotterdam but in a much bigger venue because by that time The Fugees were HUGE. Her then boyfriend Nas did a little warm up performance at a small stage next to the main stage... She then got into the singing songs with a guitar, the whole unplugged thing which wasn't really my thing and I lost track of her. Vagualy remember all the news about her losing her mind, going crazy "because of all the fame", made her money, she got out, good for her....
