That seems potentially very large...

How long until we can get a really good look at it and how long until that X flare would be earth facing? And how long after that before it hits the earth?

there was a video a few days ago that i saw that had an alien ship shooting a laser beam of some kind at the sun. i couldn't tell if it was trying to repair the damage or make the damage to the sun...

We had a couple that big back in 2002, will be interesting to se how this manifests in the next few days.

Well...fire from the sky is supposed to take out Rome in three or four days...so maybe that is a good guess on timing. It is the annual Miracle of the Sun in Fatima.

Just after 3:47 a.m. EDT on Saturday, April 27, the Gamma-ray Burst Monitor on the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope detected the brightest Gamma-ray burst ever seen. The burst produced radiation at energies up to 94 giga-electron volts, about three times higher than the previous record. It also set the record as the longest GRB ever; the GeV emission from the burst lasted for hours, and it remained detectable by the LAT for the better part of a day.

The late x ray observations of GRB 130427A by Swift-XRT clearly evidence a pattern typical of a family of GRBs associated to supernova (SN) following the Induce Gravitational Collapse (IGC) paradigm (Rueda & Ruffini 2012; Pisani et al. 2013). We assume that the luminosity of the possible SN associated to GRB 130427A would be the one of 1998bw, as found in the IGC sample described in Pisani et al. 2013. Assuming the intergalactic absorption in the I-band (which corresponds to the R-band rest-frame) and the intrinsic one, assuming a Milky Way type for the host galaxy, we obtain a magnitude expected for the peak of the SN of I = 22 - 23 occurring 13-15 days after the GRB trigger, namely between the 10th and the 12th of May 2013.

Further optical and radio observations are encouraged.
