Midnight Beauty
Long grass rustles and hisses. The moon, a mere sliver of glory, shines on our motionless forms; lying on the ground. Stars frozen in the sky give us company. As we lie in the grass, we are comforted by the gentle breeze on our faces. It carries away the heat of our troubles. No haunting concerns to chase us. No limits to our minds. As we drift away from reality, our souls reach for the stars and touch them.
